  • Publication number: 20220180390
Abstract: A method and system for communication protocol pass reduction amongst recipient nodes capable of receiving broadcast messages, the recipient nodes functioning as different decisions points for determination of a passing joint set of nodes for squadron communication therebetween. The method and system provide squadron communication between different ones of the recipient nodes, wherein one of the recipient nodes becomes a squadron leader node upon a selection of a specific broadcast message for distribution to other recipient nodes for acceptance. The squadron leader node and the other recipient nodes upon acceptance form the passing joint set of nodes for squadron communication therebetween.

  • Patent number: 11346795
Abstract: XPS spectra are used to analyze and monitor various steps in the selective deposition process. A goodness of passivation value is derived to analyze and quantify the quality of the passivation step. A selectivity figure of merit value is derived to analyze and quantify the selectivity of the deposition process, especially for selective deposition in the presence of passivation. A ratio of the selectivity figure of merit to maximum selectivity value can also be used to characterize and monitor the deposition process.

  • Publication number: 20220144682
Abstract: A glass article manufacturing system 20 includes a crucible 44. The crucible 44 includes a barrel 52 and a nozzle 60. The barrel receives a feedstock. A translational stage 92 is positioned below the nozzle of the crucible. The translational stage is movable. A heater 72 is in thermal communication with the nozzle such that thermal energy provided by the heater is transferred to the feedstock. A feeder assembly 32 is positioned proximate the barrel of the crucible such that the feeder assembly feeds the feedstock into the barrel. The translational stage may provide negative pressure to retain a build plate to the translational stage. A preformed component may be positioned on the translational stage.

  • Publication number: 20220122335
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatus, and computer-readable media (transitory or non-transitory) are described herein for scaling and rendering a virtual hand. According to an example, vision data may be received from a three-dimensional (“3D”) vision sensor. The vision data may capture at least a portion of a user in an environment, and may include data representing the user's hand relative to a touch interaction surface. The vision data may be processed to generate a 3D representation of the user's hand. A scaling center may be identified on the touch interaction surface to scale the 3D representation of the user's hand. The 3D representation of the user's hand may be scaled with respect to the identified scaling center using a scaling factor. The scaling factor may be based on a rendering constraint. A virtual hand may be rendered, e.g., on a display, based on the scaled 3D representation of the user's hand.

  • Patent number: 11273357
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a system, program product, and method for use and an artificial intelligence (AI) platform to identify and analyze physical forces related to sensory input. A sensor operatively coupled to an inertial measurement unit (IMU) is activated. An initial position of the IMU responsive to the sensor activation is captured and movement of the IMU from the initial position is recognized. A comparison is preformed, where the captured initial position is compared to a second position which is correlated with the recognized movement. A score based on the performed comparison is determined and a diagnostic assessment based on the performed comparison and determined score is created. The diagnostic assessment is converted to feedback, where the conversion utilizes real-time communication of an instruction of a second movement position of the IMU. Receipt of the feedback physically conveys a manifestation of the feedback to the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11228538
Abstract: A method of data switching. Data is received by at least one input port of a crosspoint switch. The crosspoint switch configurably casts the data to at least one output port of the crosspoint switch. Each output port of the crosspoint switch is connected to a respective input of a logic function device such as an FPGA. The logic function device applies a logic function to data received from each output port of the crosspoint switch, such as address filtering or multiplexing, and outputs processed data to one or more respective logic function device output interfaces. Also, a method of switching involving circuit switching received data to an output while also copying the data to a higher layer function.

  • Patent number: 11172106
Abstract: A removably attachable optical device includes a clamp comprising an upper clamp member and a lower clamp member. When the clamp is mounted on a mobile device, the upper member extends over a device side to enable an orifice formed by the upper clamp member to be positioned over an aperture of the mobile device. An optical element housing has a portion configured to engage the an upper clamp member. A non-uniform optical element is rotatably mounted to the optical element housing. Rotation of the non-uniform optical element causes light passing through the non-uniform optical element as the non-uniform optical element is rotated to be correspondingly altered to create optical effects.
