  • Patent number: 10288216
Abstract: A support fixture that can be securely attached to a work implement such as mops, push brushes, long handled paint rollers, shovels, garden rakes, leaf rakes, squeegees, long handled trowels, vacuum cleaner wands, walking sticks, long handled shears and other long handled tools, includes a mounting bracket and a standing leg. The standing leg is hingedly engaged into the mounting bracket. The support fixture is light in weight and weather resistant and substantially aids the work implement to stand alone uprightly and in a stable position when the work implement is not operational. When the work implement is operational, the standing leg may be adjustably flipped upwards to prevent any obstruction of the operations of the work implement.

  • Patent number: 6789017
Abstract: A system for calculating the actual steering angle position based upon signals received from a relative position steering angle sensor and other vehicle sensors. The system involves calculating a steering angle value based upon a plurality of vehicle models and then weighting and combining the values to determine a steering angle reference value which is used to calculate an offset value which can be applied to the relative position steering angle sensor value to provide a true steering angle value. The vehicle models include a yaw rate model, a lateral acceleration model, a front axle model and a rear axle model. An uncertainty factor is calculated and used to filter the offset value. The data used to determine the offset value may be obtained when the vehicle is driving forward and also when driving rearwardly and relatively straight.

  • Patent number: 5337501
Abstract: Magnetic alphanumeric characters having substantially the capability to be properly aligned to one another during display is proposed. The characters consist of magnetic materials with concentrated magnetic strength on one face. The magnetized face is glued to a thin transparent polyethelene material whose edges are cut in a zig-zag fashion. The zig-zag edges allow more than one alphanumeric character to be installed in a straight line vertically, horizontally and at an angle.

  • Patent number: 5186702
Abstract: A sit-up device having substantially the capability to support all types of sit-up exercises is disclosed. The device comprises a mounting base generally for the purpose of securing it to a fixture during use. Another aspect of the device is the adjustable section used to control the horizontal and vertical position of the feet restraining bar. When installed for use, the feet restraining bar remains parallel with the floor. The adjustability is produced by sliding motions between a lever and a base member which allows for greater vertical and horizontal adjustments. Hence the device can support all types of sit-up exercises postures. The mounting base of this device can be secured to any flat surface such as a door structure, house-hold and office furniture, smooth concrete, wood or metallic surfaces.
