  • Patent number: 11917519
Abstract: In some embodiments an apparatus includes a wireless sensor configured to be operatively coupled to a network gateway device that is configured to receive one of a first data packet or a second packet from the wireless sensor. The wireless sensor is configured to send the first data packet at a first time on a first frequency, the first data packet including a payload associated with a value of a measurement that was measured by the wireless sensor. The wireless sensor is configured to send the second data packet at a second time on a second frequency, the second data packet includes a payload associated with the value.

  • Patent number: 5630189
Abstract: An easy loading camera comprising a cartridge receiving chamber for receiving a film cartridge with a protruding film leader, and a leader insertion slit beginning at the cartridge receiving chamber, is characterized by a leader guide supported in a guiding position within the cartridge receiving chamber to guide the protruding film leader into the leader insertion slit before the film cartridge is loaded into the chamber and to be moved to a retracted position to make room for the film cartridge when the film cartridge is loaded into the chamber. Preferably, the leader guide is located in its leader guiding position for the film cartridge to push the leader guide out of the way as the film cartridge is loaded into the cartridge receiving chamber.

  • Patent number: 5617164
Abstract: A photographic camera including a metering linkage and an exposure initiation member provided with extensions that interact to: a) block the linkage from energizing a film winding motor in one position of the member; and, b) release the linkage to energize the motor in another position of the member. The first or blocking position corresponds to depression of the member to initiate an exposure. The second or releasing position corresponds to the return of the member to its undepressed condition after initiating the exposure. The exposure initiation member includes a first tab and the metering linkage includes a second tab. In the depressed position of the member, the first and second tabs respectively engage each other, blocking movement of the linkage and thereby preventing energization of the motor. In the non-depressed position of the member, the first and second tabs respectively clear each other, releasing the linkage and energizing the motor.

  • Patent number: 5508766
Abstract: An underwater camera unit comprises a camera body provided with a depressible shutter release button, and a water-resistant housing enclosing the camera body and provided with manually actuated means including a flexible housing section located over the shutter release button to be deflected to depress the shutter release button. According to the invention, the manually actuated means includes a substantially rigid cantilevered beam having a fixed end portion connected to the flexible housing section and a free end portion spaced from the flexible housing section, to permit the free end portion to be manually depressed towards the flexible housing section to create a torque at the fixed end portion which will deflect the flexible housing section to depress the shutter release button.
