  • Publication number: 20020069784
Abstract: A deforming charge assembly is provided which has an inner and an outer cylinder formed from carbon fiber. Each of the inner and outer cylinders have an inner circumferential surface having an inner diameter, and that outer circumferential surface having an outer diameter. The inner diameter of the outer cylinder is greater than the outer diameter of the inner cylinder. Each of the inner and outer cylinders have a first layer of circumferentially wound carbon fiber, a second layer of unidirectional carbon fiber sheet and a plurality of layers of carbon fibers circumferentially wrapped around the second layer. A plurality of sympathetic detonation barrier members are provided and have an inner surface in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the inner cylinder and an outer surface in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the outer cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5924587
Abstract: A container comprises bottom, left and right side, front, back and top asblies. The side, front, back and top assemblies have a rectangular sheet with a batten frame affixed to the perimeter of a first face thereof and coincident with the edges thereof. The bottom assembly has a rectangular sheet with a base frame affixed to the perimeter of a bottom face thereof. The base frame extends beyond the perimeter of the sheet to form a circumferential extension dimensioned therearound to be equal to the thickness of the sheet used in the other assemblies plus the thickness of the batten frame. During construction of the container, each assembly is glued and stapled prior to being glued and screwed to other assemblies. The side, back and front assemblies are arranged to form a rectangular tube with an inner surface defined entirely by the side, back and front assemblies' sheet.

  • Patent number: 5641189
Abstract: A multiple strap carrier includes a base with a first strap passing under e base and extending beyond the base to form a first extension and a second extension. The first extension has loops thereon spaced apart from one another. One or more second straps also pass under the base. The first strap and second strap(s) cross one another under the base. Each second strap also extends beyond the base to form a third extension and a fourth extension. The third and fourth extensions each have loops thereon spaced apart from one another. Each of a plurality of tightening straps are attached to the second extension of the first strap. Each tightening strap passes through one loop on each of the first, third and fourth extensions. The loops are positioned such that the tightening straps are substantially parallel to one another.
