    Abstract: A method and apparatus for preventing leakage and spillage of oil from a wireline lubricator when the lubricator is disconnected from an oil and/or gas well including a generally cylindrical hollow coupling assembly adapted for connection to the bottom of the wireline lubricator, and a swab for contacting and forming a seal with the exterior of the tool in the wireline lubricator to prevent leakage of oil from the wireline lubricator.
