  • Patent number: 11746458
Abstract: Techniques are described controlling and managing machines to provide laundry services. A request may be received from a mobile device of a user, the request indicating that the mobile device is in proximity to a laundry machine such as a washer or dryer. In some cases, the request is sent by the mobile device based on detecting, at the mobile device, a wireless signal transmitted from the laundry machine. In some cases the request may include a code that identifies the laundry machine, the code being displayed by the machine and/or encoded in a scannable code displayed by the machine. In response to the request, a signal may be sent to activate the laundry machine and enable the user to use the laundry machine for a predetermined period of time (e.g., a cycle). In some cases, the activation signal is sent if the user's payment is successfully processed.

  • Patent number: 11507973
Abstract: Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (“POP”) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. A wireless signal from a POP display may be received by a mobile device. The mobile device may provide the unique identifier in the wireless signal and a retail location of the mobile device to a remote server. The retail location of the mobile device may he provided by a mobile application (e.g., a retailer app) on the mobile device. The remote server may determine the retail location of the POP display by associating the retail location of the mobile device with the wireless beacon.

  • Patent number: 11270348
Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking shipment of products are disclosed herein. One or more cameras may be used capture video of an area where the products are loaded into and/or unloaded from shipping containers. Wireless beacons may be attached to the shipping containers. A network gateway may receive the wireless signals from the wireless beacon and the video from at least one camera. The wireless beacon may change a transmittal rate of the wireless signal from a first transmittal rate to a second transmittal rate in response to the cover on the shipping container being opened or closed. The network gateway may provide, to a remote server, a selected amount of the received video from its memory along with a unique identifier for the wireless beacon in response to the network gateway receiving the wireless signal at the second transmittal rate.

  • Patent number: 11170409
Abstract: Printable circuits may be used in combination with a point of purchase (POP) display (e.g., a consumer product display). The POP display may be configured to be deployed at a retail location. A printable circuit may be attached to the POP display with the printable circuit having printed data for a selected retail campaign associated with the POP display. The printed data may include one or more parameters for the selected retail campaign. A wireless beacon may be attached to the printable circuit on the POP display. The printable circuit may provide the parameters for the selected retail campaign to the wireless beacon when the wireless beacon is attached to the printable circuit. The wireless beacon may be assigned a unique identifier in at least one parameter provided to the wireless beacon by the printable circuit.

  • Patent number: 11098429
Abstract: Techniques are described for communicating with and controlling a laundry machine. In some cases, the laundry machine emits, using at least one wireless network interface, a beacon signal that identifies a laundry machine. The beacon signal may be detectable by a mobile device and, based on the signal, the mobile device may determine that it is in proximity to the laundry machine. In some implementations, the determination that the mobile device is in proximity to the laundry machine may be based on receiving, from the mobile device, a request that includes a code associated with the laundry machine. A network interface of the laundry machine may receive a control signal to alter an operational state of the laundry machine to enable its use. In some cases, the sending of the control signal is caused by the determination that the mobile device is in proximity to the laundry machine.
