Patent number: 11967922Abstract: A universal adapter for enabling truss foundations to support conventional single-axis trackers. In some cases, the adapter has a main body with an upper portion that presents a standard I-beam interface with pre-drilled holes to interface to a specific single-axis tracker. A pair of connecting portions point down and away from the main body and enable upper leg sections to connect the adapter to a pair of driven screw anchors located below it. The connecting portions may orient the truss so that the rotational axis of the single-axis tracker is aligned with the work point of the truss foundation made from the adapter, upper legs, and driven screw anchors. This will enable to the truss to interface with many different trackers much like conventional plumb-driven H-pile foundations.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2023Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: Ojjo, Inc.Inventors: Jack West, David Mar, Charles Almy, Tyrus Hudson, Johann Karkheck, Kathryn Pesce

Patent number: 11953041Abstract: A machine for rotary driving screw anchors into underlying ground and related. The machine has a mast with a rotary driver and a mandrel driver oriented on a common axis. The mandrel driver passes a mandrel through the rotary driver and the screw anchor to allow the mandrel to be actuated ahead of the screw anchor while the rotary driver drives the screw anchor into the ground. Alternatively, the mandrel driver may also drive a hammering drill through the screw anchor to clear a path ahead of it through subsurface rocks.Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 2021Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Ojjo, Inc.Inventors: Charles Almy, Johann Karkheck, Tyrus Hudson, David Warner, Jack West, David Mar

Publication number: 20240099853Abstract: A prosthesis may include a first component, a second component, and a coupling member. The first component may include a first body extending from a first end to a second end, which may define a first opening that extends inwardly toward the first end. The first opening may include a first portion having a first diameter and a second portion having a second diameter. The second component may include a second body extending from a first end to a second end. The second body may define a second opening that extends through the second body. The coupling member may be configured to couple the first component and the second component by compressing the first component and the second component. The coupling member may include a shaft portion and a head portion. The shaft portion may be sized and configured to be received in the first opening and the second opening.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 14, 2023Publication date: March 28, 2024Applicant: WRIGHT MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventors: David Charles VISCARDI, Terrance W. Publication number: 20240093912Abstract: A crimper for joining truss leg components to form a unitary truss foundation with the ground without needing mechanical fasteners. A crimping tool has upper and lower crimp guides that register the position of jaws on the crimping tool with respect to grooves formed in a connecting portion of a truss cap and in a driving coupler of a driven screw anchor. Registering the position of the jaws ensures that blind crimps between the upper leg and screw anchor and upper leg and truss cap are performed consistently each time.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Applicant: Ojjo, Inc.Inventors: Tyrus Hudson, Johann Karkheck, Charles Almy, Jack West, Greg McPheeters

Patent number: 10713894Abstract: Disclosed is a side bet system for roulette game. The side bet system is easy for players to understand since it does not involve a random number generator and instead relies on the winning number from a round of play to determine if the side bet is won. The system utilizes a winning number database stack to select and display a plurality of predictions regarding the next winning number. Each prediction is associated with an icon and players wager on any or all of the icons. It allows a winning wager in a first round to ride for a second round of prediction by the icon and if the icon again predicts the winning number the wager pays off and rides for third round of prediction by the icon. If the icon correctly predicts the third consecutive number the wager pays off again and the series restarts.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 2018Date of Patent: July 14, 2020Inventor: Jonathan Charles West
