Publication number: 20240091517Abstract: A system for treating a vascular region includes an elongate catheter shaft having a distal end region, with an inner lumen formed in the elongate shaft and a fluid delivery lumen formed in the elongate shaft adjacent to the inner lumen. A treatment core is disposable within the inner lumen, and has one or more ultrasound transducers disposable adjacent to the distal end region of the elongate catheter shaft, the one or more ultrasound transducers including a proximal-most ultrasound transducer. The fluid delivery lumen is adapted such that fluid passing through the fluid delivery lumen exits the fluid delivery lumen at a position proximal to the proximal-most ultrasound transducer.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 15, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Applicant: BOSTON SCIENTIFIC SCIMED, INC.Inventors: Misty L. Publication number: 20070127308Abstract: There is provided an extrusion auger having auger segments that are removable from an auger shaft and that include a recess to facilitate removal of the auger segments. A pulling tool is also provided to engage the recess of the auger segment and to facilitate the removal of auger segment from the auger shaft in an axially forward direction. The auger segment includes an access way to provide access to the recess and the recess includes an engaging surface. The pulling tool includes a flanged end that can pass through the access way of the auger segment and contact the engaging surface of the auger segment. The recess of the auger segment may be located in a bore of the auger hub such that the pulling tool can be advanced along a keyway in the auger shaft, rotated to pass the flanged end of the pulling tool through the access way, and pulled axially forward to contact the engaging surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 12, 2007Publication date: June 7, 2007Inventors: Charles Whittaker, Jr., Joey Bowles

Patent number: 7069124Abstract: Robotic systems for modeling, mapping and exploring subterranean void spaces such as mines, caves, tunnels, bunkers, and conduits. Robotic modeling of subterranean voids is generally enabled by a procedural system consisting of preprocessing, ingress, void modeling, mapping and navigation, exploration, conveying payloads other than void modeling sensors, egress, and post processing. The robots can either be imposed mobility or can be self mobile with either autonomous, remote, teleoperated, or manual modes of operation. The robot may optionally transform from a compact size into a more conventional operating size if the operating size exceeds the void entry opening size. Void geometries with flat floors are amenable to robot locomotion such as rolling, crawling, walking or swimming. Alternatively, irregular floor geometries that preclude self mobilization may be accessible by imposed mobilization such as dropping or pushing a movable robotic sensor into such voids.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2003Date of Patent: June 27, 2006Assignee: Workhorse Technologies, LLCInventors: William Lawrence Whittaker, Warren Charles Whittaker, Scott Mason Thayer, Zachary Meyer Omohundro, Carlos Felipe Reverte, David Ian Ferguson, Aaron Christopher Morris, Christopher Baker
