  • Patent number: 8888904
Abstract: This invention describes the processes of formulating heat generating graphite-sodium silicate (G-S) coating agents/mixes, and coating these mixes on base layer boards/panels to construct moderate to high surface temperature heating devices that are environmentally safe, fire retardant, and economically viable. The core to such heating devices is the formulation of G-S coating agents/mixes that are composed of graphite, sodium silicate, and aluminum silicate. In these coating mixes, the graphite is the primary heat generating agent, the sodium silicate is the main fire resisting agent, and the aluminum silicate primarily serves as surface heat control and water proofing functions.

  • Publication number: 20120213963
Abstract: A method of creating a camouflage device includes providing two bolts of lace with at least one of the bolts including pleated regions extending from one side to the other where the bolts are attached together. Each bolt of lace may include a particular pattern of stitches and/or coloring to further create more realistic three-dimensional camouflage system. Hems formed along the bolts of lace may include button holes and/or button or grommets for fastening a plurality of camouflage devices together.

  • Patent number: 7118469
Abstract: An abrasive pad having dots of abrasive material disposed thereon includes a central alignment hole. The abrasive pad is formed by slipping a backing pad having a central alignment hole onto an alignment stud that extends from a support surface through the central alignment hole. A mold having a plurality of fill holes and an alignment hole is then placed against the backing pad such that a portion of the alignment stud extends into the mold alignment hole. A mixture of abrasive material is deposited into the fill holes. Heat is applied and the mold is removed. The abrasive material is allowed to cure to create an abrasive pad having abrasive dots.
