    Abstract: A method, mobile device and system are provided for managing and displaying email messages on a device having security classification metadata. The security classification metadata is extracted on the mobile device from the email messages. A presentation characteristic for the email message is determined based on a comparison of the extracted security classification metadata of the email message to a security classification policy. The email messages on the device can then be presented in accordance with the determined presentation characteristic of each respective email associated with the security classification metadata. In addition, in replying to an email in one or more subsets of recipients of the email message can be determined where each of the recipients of a respective subset having at least one security classification in common.

As content is entered in the application receives or determines classification suggestions which are presented in the virtual keyboard which is dynamically modified. A classification can then be applied to the content identifying sensitive information within the e-mail or document.
