    Abstract: A sun shield comprising a flat heat insulating element mountable above and spaced from the head of a wearer by an arm member pivotally supported on a flexible head band. The arm member is also pivotally attached to the insulating element so that the insulating element may be moved to shade the top and all sides of the head of the wearer through adjustments of the arm member and rotation of the head band.
