  • Publication number: 20190013539
Abstract: The main subject of the invention is a system (10) for clamping a high-temperature SOEC/SOFC stack (11), characterised in that it includes: an upper clamping plate (12) and a lower clamping plate (13) between which the stack (11) is intended to be clamped, each plate including at least one clamping orifice (14); at least one clamping rod (15) intended to extend through clamping orifices (14) in the upper and lower clamping plates (12, 13) in order to allow them to be assembled; clamping means (16, 17, 18, 20, 21) level with each clamping orifice (14), which means are intended to interact with said at least one clamping rod (15); and at least one electrically insulating plate (19) that is intended to be located between the stack (11) and at least one of the upper and lower clamping plates (12, 13).

  • Publication number: 20170279134
Abstract: A heat exchanger can be integrated into an interconnector that can be used in both a SOFC fuel cell and an EHT electrolyser, which allows a heat-transfer fluid different from that in the reactive and drainage gas circuits to be circulated from the inlet of the reactor, thereby allowing the best possible management of the exothermic operating modes of the SOFC cell and the exothermic or endothermic operating modes of the EHT electrolyser and the SOFC cell, especially in the absence of current for the latter.

  • Patent number: 8408447
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a module with a hollow area by hot isostatic compression, including: making an assembly including superposed elements defining the hollow area, the assembly forming a sealed casing containing the hollow area, including at least one meltable obturation member separating the hollow area from the outside of the assembly; followed by hot isostatic compression of the assembly, to obtain diffusion-welding of its elements, by letting temperature and pressure conditions change over time to cause a rupture of the meltable obturation member allowing pressurization gas to penetrate into the hollow area.

  • Publication number: 20120292003
Abstract: A device forming a chemical reactor including a first circuit configured to form a chemical reactor, wherein the first circuit includes plural channels, wherein flow at least two chemicals intended to react with one another, wherein the channels have a three-dimensional structure including bends and junctions forcing the fluid to change direction, and a second heat exchange circuit including multiple channels, wherein a heat transfer fluid flows, positioned as close as possible to the channels wherein the reaction occurs.

  • Publication number: 20100047117
Abstract: This invention relates to the purification of indoor air using a method that essentially comprises forcing the air to be processed to flow through an active medium exposed to a germicidal radiation in the presence of a photocatalytic material contained therein, with a destructive action on the microorganisms optionally present in the air and retained in the active medium such as reduced and/or weakened due to the impact on wall members provided therefore in the active medium. A first active medium includes a mass made in the form of a three-dimensional network of walls with photocatalytic surfaces and located in the immediate vicinity of a germicidal radiation source. A second active medium includes a liquid mass in which particles with a photocatalytic surface are dispersed and submitted to a germicidal radiation. The liquid mass is agitated by feeding air therein in order to generate a vortex.
