The device also comprises a selection means (14) for selectively activating one or more of said chips. In use, a said NFC reader can read information from one or more of said chips only when selected and activated and when in NFC reading range. The communications device is further configured to permit data to be read from one or more of said chips only when an authentication, such as an authentication sequence, is performed utilizing the selection means in range of a said NFC chip reader.
