  • Patent number: 11774248
Abstract: This disclosure relates to systems and methods for performing inclusive indoor navigation. State of the art systems and methods require extra hardware and fail to provide accurate localization and navigation with less precision. The method of the present disclosure obtains a nested environment data of a facility and estimate current spatial location of a user in the nested environment using surrounding recognition machine learning model. An optimal path categorized as convenient path, shortest path and multi-destination path from the current spatial location to a destination is determined. The current spatial location of the user is tracked on the optimal path using an augmented reality technique when navigation starts. The optimal path is dynamically updated based on feedback obtained from one or more user interaction modalities. The present disclosure provides user navigation with last meter precision, and no hardware and internet dependency.

  • Publication number: 20230289378
Abstract: In today’s world, knowledge dissemination through online versions of novels or textbooks i.e., in portable document format, in which the entire life cycle in content generation has a huge gap forcing organizations to spend lots of efforts to introduce accessibility. This disclosure relates a method and system to create accessible enterprise content by design. The method receives one or more content as an input from various sources. One or more features associated with each of one or more content is extracted. The content is validated to identify one or more content is accessible or inaccessible based on one or more features. Each inaccessible content is dynamically remediated based on accessibility attributes to obtain one or more accessible content. The one or more accessible content is converted into one or more desired accessible formats based on one or more classes and a logical reading order of one or more content.

  • Patent number: 11442620
Abstract: Conventional input mechanisms available are built considering majority users but face usability and security challenge when used by special users or when used in challenging environments. Embodiments herein provide a method and device for multimodal input mechanism. The device is preconfigured for a plurality of modalities and provides an option to a user to select an input modality pair for entering a sequence of characters into the device. A first modality among the pair enables selection of a character set among a plurality of character sets and the second modality enables selecting a character from the selected character set. The plurality of modalities comprise a touch mode defined by a set of touch based gestures, a motion keyboard mode defined by a set of device tilt based gestures, an air gesture mode defined by a set of virtual gestures and a voice mode defined by a set of voice commands.

  • Patent number: 10991265
Abstract: In spite of complying with accessibility standards and guidelines, it is noted that persons with disabilities (PwD) continue to face usability challenges when accessing content. The present disclosure addresses these challenges by firstly identifying design considerations for each type of disability and facilitates intelligent generation of inclusive system designs that addresses usability and accessibility challenges based on persona, scenario and modality associated with users of all abilities, hence being inclusive. Systems and methods of the present disclosure aide designers with a comprehensive knowledge bank of captured challenges, needs and effectiveness of modalities, the outcomes and existing design considerations that may be prompted at appropriate state of development of system designs to help designers make informed design choices without curtailing their creativity thus digitizing the end-to-end design process.

  • Patent number: 10915610
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for providing inclusive CAPTCHA. The method, in response to a user request for a webpage having CAPTCHA, creates a media file in real-time, wherein the created media file is characterized by distortion interference and corresponds to a selected theme from a plurality of themes associated with real-world scenarios. Further, randomly selecting a comprehension question from a plurality of comprehension questions for the created media file as the CAPTCHA, the comprehension question being based on the selected theme, geography associated with a user requesting the webpage and context of the created media file and transmits the webpage including the CAPTCHA. Further, in response to a user input to the comprehension question, intelligently detecting either a human input or a machine input based on a self-learning CAPTCHA decision module, by considering one or more of spelling errors, incomplete responses, contextual metonyms, synonyms and variants thereof.

  • Patent number: 10678879
Abstract: A method and system is provided for selecting a sample set of pages for assessing the accessibility of a websites. The sample set of pages are selected in such a way that a minimum set of pages can represent the whole websites as per the standard compliance. The system includes a crawler which scans the complete websites. Further an element identification module identifies a set of web elements present on the websites. The web elements and the webpages are then classified into a predefined categories. The system also provides a rule based engine to generate the sample set of pages based on a predefined rule. The generated sample set of pages are used to assess the accessibility of the websites.

  • Patent number: 10534512
Abstract: Disclosed is a system for identifying one or more web elements present on a web-page. A web-page receiving module may receive a web-page comprising a plurality of web elements. A parameter recording module may record one or more parameters corresponding to a web element of the plurality of web elements. A simulation module may simulate interaction of one or more input devices with the web element in order to determine behavior of the web element. The simulation module may further record change in the one or more parameters based on the interaction simulated. The change in the one or more parameters may be recorded upon triggering of at least one event. A web-element identification module may identify the web element based on the behavior of the web element and the change recorded in the one or more parameters.

  • Publication number: 20190018937
Abstract: The present disclosure aims to provide CAPTCHA that meets orthogonal requirements of accessibility, usability and security requirements for users of all abilities to make it practically inclusive. The present disclosure provides CAPTCHA questions based on media files associated with real-world scenario thereby ensuring usability and accessibility. Distortion interference is introduced in the media files to ensure security. The questions relate to a selected theme from a plurality of themes. Each theme is further associated with a plurality of media files based on environment and contextual information. Geographical considerations like language and culture are also taken into account to increase usability. The vast repository of media files, types and combinations add to the security aspect of the CAPTCHA.
