Abstract: The present disclosure provides inventive nozzles and applicators for dispensing adhesive. These nozzle comprise: a main body cavity and a cap releasably attached to the main body cavity; wherein the cap includes spaced orifices for dispensing adhesive on an outer surface of a male pipe and a sleeve extending inwardly from the cap into the main body cavity; wherein the main body cavity includes a barrel portion, a funnel portion and a conduit, and wherein the sleeve is sized to accommodate the outer surface of a selected male pipe.

Abstract: Methods of bonding a male element and a female element, the method including applying an adhesive composition to at least the male element, the male element including a first metal; inserting at least a portion of the male element into the female element thereby forming an external interface between the male element and the female element, the female element including a second metal; and curing the adhesive composition to form an adhesive bond between the male element and the female element, wherein the first metal and the second metal are not the same, wherein the external interface of the male element and female element is covered by the cured adhesive composition and the adhesive composition covering the external interface of the male element and female element limits corrosion of at least a portion of the male element, the female element, or both.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a hand tape applicator and system including such applicator are disclosed. The hand tape applicator includes a body, a spindle connected to the body that is configured to receive a tape roll that includes tape, and an ergonomic handle connected to the body. The applicator further includes a roller mechanism connected to the body that is configured to apply the tape to a substrate. The roller mechanism includes a head and a tape roller extending along a roller axis between a first end and a second end of the tape roller. The tape roller is connected to the head at each of the first and second ends. The applicator further includes a force sensor connected to the head. The force sensor is configured to detect a force between the tape roller and the head and provide a signal indicative of the force.
