The main portion may be reflection symmetric about a longitudinal central line, and the veil may include a garment facing layer arranged on a garment facing side of the veil, and a space creating layer arranged on a skin contacting side of the veil. The space creating layer comprises a nonwoven material arranged at least one the skin contacting side of the veil. The nonwoven material includes non-absorbent fibres. The fibres and/or the nonwoven material is/are coated with a lubricating coating composition configured for use in hygiene products at least on the skin contacting side of the veil to be in contact with skin of the user.

Abstract: A composition including a buffered lactic acid having a pH within the range of from 3.0 to 6.5 is disclosed. The composition is a lubricant composition and has a water activity of from 0.03 to 0.60. The friction between the absorbent product and the skin/mucous membrane of the user is reduced when in contact with the skin or mucous membrane of the user. An additional advantage is that the composition has a pH in the acidic range which is close to the pH of the skin and/or mucous membrane.

The carrier matrix dissolves when in contact with an aqueous solution, such as urine and the odor control material is obtained by means of thermoforming. The invention relates also to a method for the preparation of the odor control material and the use of the odor control material in absorbent products. The present odor control material minimizes dusting problems caused by particulate odor control agents in production processes.

Hereby, an enhanced capacity to absorb malodorous compounds of large size intervals in wet and dry systems is achieved.
