Abstract: A method for visualizing a patient shoulder anatomy is provided. The method includes receiving image data of the patient shoulder anatomy, identifying a boundary of a lesion on a humerus based on the image data, generating one or more 3D models based on a segmentation of the image data, determining a location of a glenoid track corresponding to a contact between the humerus and a glenoid based on the one or more 3D models, generating a first virtual object based on the location of the glenoid track, and displaying: at least a portion of a rendering of the one or more 3D models, the boundary of the lesion, and the first virtual object.

  • Publication number: 20060077665
Abstract: A uniformly illuminated surface is visually attractive. When large in size, such a surface is likely to create a lasting impression on a viewer, and can be effective as a marketing or branding tool. In the lighting system of the present invention, diffuser shields are used to disperse light from a lamp of a lighting unit onto a projection side of a translucent surface. The light is further dispersed by the surface, causing uniform illumination of the surface when viewed from the opposite viewing side of the surface. When a number of lighting systems of the present invention are appropriately placed in relation to each other and the surface, those systems can be used to provide uniform illumination of one or more surfaces, irrespective of their size or shape.
