  • Publication number: 20240104125
Abstract: There are provided solutions for multiagent debate. In a method, a first and a second response representation are determined by a first and a second agent in a plurality of agents based on a first query representation for a query in a natural language, respectively, and the first and second response representations are convertible to a first and a second answer to the query in the natural language, respectively. A second query representation is obtained based on the first query representation, and at least one of the first and second response representations. A response representation is determined based on the second query representation by at least one of the first and second agents, and the response representation is convertible to an answer to the query in the natural language. These agents communicate in an embedding space without a conversion between a natural language format and an embedding format.

  • Patent number: 11755450
Abstract: System and methods are provided for detecting and suggesting breaks in activity by a user of an Information Handling System (IHS). I/O operations by the user of the IHS are monitored, without use of a camera and thus within privacy restrictions. Upon initiating the activity monitoring, a timer is initialized. Using the timer, intervals are identified with no activity by the user, thus indicating the user has taken a break from operating the IHS. Based on the monitored user activity, intervals are also identified with uninterrupted operation of the IHS by the user, such as monitored activity by the user without identifying an interval of inactivity that indicates the user has taken a break. Upon detection of an interval with uninterrupted operation of the IHS, the user is presented with a suggestion to take a break from operation of the IHS.

  • Publication number: 20190132274
Abstract: Described are examples for classifying responses to a post in a community forum. An initial post in the community forum can be received along with multiple response posts in response to the initial post. For each of the multiple response posts, a feature vector including an array of numbers each indicative of a feature of the corresponding response post can be generated. A weight can be applied to one or more of the array of numbers in the feature vector for each of the multiple response posts. Each of the multiple response posts can be ranked in an order based at least in part on the array of numbers in the feature vector for each of the multiple response posts.

  • Publication number: 20170212650
Abstract: The way a software program is presented to a particular user can be dynamically tailored to the user. Dynamic tailoring to the particular user can be performed in an attempt to optimize user engagement with the software. Dynamic tailoring can be based on known information about the user, available features of the software program and/or features of external disjoint software systems, a group or cluster to which the particular user is assigned, user actions (e.g., in response to behavioral influencers and/or on the state of the system operationally. The information known about the user and how he used the software previously and/or the features of the software presented to the user can be dynamically updated (changed as the system executes). Dynamic updating enables the way the software is presented to the user to change as the user is using the software. Dynamic updating can be controlled by a training subsystem.

  • Publication number: 20060083040
Abstract: The present invention relates to a programmable non-volatile semiconductor memory device comprising a matrix of rows and columns of memory cells (1). To reduce the required memory area a 3T memory cell is proposed comprising a bridge of two bridge transistors (MN0, MN1), preferably NMOS transistors, a read transistor, preferably an PMOS transistor, and a silicided polysilicium fuse resistor (R). The read transistors enable the use of a single sense line (SL) for all memory cells (1) of the same row or column in the matrix thus enabling the use of a common sense amplifier for sensing memory cells (1).

  • Patent number: 6468304
Abstract: A device which can be implanted in the body and comprises an electrically conducting support covered with a layer of electrically conducting polymer, to which layer is attached at least one biologically active substance of an anionic or cationic nature. The deposition of the polymer is carried out, in a first stage, by electropolymerization directly directly on the support or, according to an alternative form, by deposition of the polymer in solution on the support. In a second stage, electrochemical oxidation or reduction is conducted and the biologically active substance with an anionic or cationic nature is attached to the polymer.

  • Patent number: 4334054
Abstract: The polymer films of the invention contain reactive groups and are obtained from phenols of the formula ##STR1## in which R denotes an acyl group with 1 to 7 carbon atoms, a hydroxy, carboxy, alkoxycarbonyl, amino, alkylamino or phenylamino group, andn is an integer, which may be 0 in the case where R is an acyl group. The films are prepared by electrolytic polymerisation on metallic surfaces and can be used to graft various materials reacting therewith, as intermediate layers.
