Abstract: A system for bonding films includes a first film, a second film having a plurality of elements, a bonding roller, and a deformable roller having a deformable outer layer. The stiffness of the second film is less than that of the first film. By using the system, the deformable outer layer of the deformable roller produces enough deformation during bonding films to fill the area not covered by the plurality of elements on the second film. Therefore, the second film without sufficient stiffness and the first film can be bonded with each other to produce a composite film without wrinkles. A method for preparing a composite film using the system is also disclosed.

Abstract: A short-range communication system includes an image capturing module, a processing unit, and a wireless communication module. The image capturing module captures a first image having a first target, a first identification code of the first target, and at least a portion of a second target. The processing unit calculates a relative position between the first target and the second target based on the first image. The wireless communication module communicates with the first target according to the first identification code to output the relative position to the first target, receives a second identification code of the second target from the first target, and communicates with the second target according to the second identification code.

Abstract: An error-handling method, an associated data storage device and the controller thereof are provided. The error-handling method may include: uploading an error-handling program to a buffer memory equipped with error correction code (ECC) protection capability; in response to at least one error, interrupting execution of a current procedure and activating an interruption service; executing the error-handling program on the buffer memory; disabling a transmission interface circuit; resetting at least one hardware engine and at least one NV memory element; performing cache rearrangement regarding a data cache within the data storage device, and programming rearranged cache data into the NV memory element, to perform data recovery; and through activating a watchdog module and the transmission interface circuit and relinking with a host device, completing soft reset to make the data storage device operate normally again.

In the method, multiple order lists are received and a schedule is initialized, wherein each order list includes multiple production operations. In each order list, a first production operation which has not been joined into the schedule yet is selected, such that multiple prior operations are selected. An execution priority of the prior operations is calculated according to multiple dispatching rules, and multiple candidate operations are selected from the prior operations according to the execution priority. Afterwards, the candidate operations are listed as a next operation of the schedule respectively, and a scheduling simulation is performed according to the dispatching rules to obtain multiple scheduling indicators of the candidate operations. Scheduling is performed according to the scheduling indicators.

The method includes the steps of: broadcasting an RF signal within a predetermined area to allow the user equipment within the predetermined area to register with the femtocell; broadcasting a paging signal to search for at least one hotspot within a wireless cellular network coverage area when the user equipment has registered with the femtocell; establishing a connection between the femtocell and a found hotspot; sending a request to the found hotspot for obtaining connection information; sending the connection information to the user equipment registered with the femtocell, allowing the user equipment to access the wireless local area network via the found hotspot.

Abstract: The disclosure provides an evacuation information system and an evacuation information method adapted for the system. The system includes a fire detector, a system control center, a plurality of alarm information transmitters, and a mobile communication device. Each alarm information transmitter stores an electronic evacuation plan of a floor in a building, which marks evacuation routes. When the fire detector detects the presence of a fire, the mobile communication device on the same floor as the fire calculates the coordinates of the mobile communication device to confirm the position on the plan, and displays the plan and an optimal evacuation route. The mobile communication device on a different floor as the fire area displays the plan of the floor and a plurality of evacuation routes.
