Abstract: A tile includes: an outer layer having a decorative surface portion formed on an outermost surface of the outer layer made of rigid material such as rigid plastic material, an air-chamber layer formed on a bottom portion of the outer layer defining an air chamber in the bottom portion of the outer layer, a plurality of supporting stems protruding downwardly or inwardly from the outer layer to be distributed in the air chamber, and a substrate layer secured to each bottom surface of the supporting stem for sealing the air chamber and made of softer material such as soft plastic material to be coated on a floor surface, thereby providing a comfortable cushioning and thermal resistant tile as effected by the intermediate air-chamber layer and the substrate layer.

Abstract: A mosquito catcher includes at least a fluorescent lamp installed on a cantilever secured above a fan, a mosquito-attracting agent placed on the catcher for luring the mosquito flying to the lamp so as to suck the mosquitoes by the fan impeller into a cone-shaped net secured under the fan impeller for killing the mosquitoes, which spirally impact against the net and are then killed and collected in a collector secured on a lower portion of the net, thereby catching mosquitoes in a safer and more efficient way.

Abstract: A gas-fired water heater includes an oxygen supply system provided with the water heater system having an oxygen supply synchronizer installed juxtapositionally to the water heater, which is synchronously opened for supplying oxygen to a gas burner, into which the gas is discharged from a gas valve of the water heater upon an opening of a water valve for supplying water to be heated by the heater, thereby causing a complete combustion of the gas for preventing a production of poisonous carbon monoxide gas.

Abstract: A modified fixing assembly for comb bristle includes a bristle base formed with a first set of several fixing holes, a fixing frame formed with a second set of several fixing holes corresponding to the fixing holes on the base, a comb body having a recessed back portion and several fixing bolts each having an inversed truncated cone portion wherein each fixing bolt is inserted into both sets of fixing holes of the fixing frame and bristle base to assemble the base and frame together as locked by the truncated cone portion of the fixing bolt, and whereby the base combined with the frame are then fixed into the comb body easily and fastly.

Abstract: An improved means of comb bristles includes a bristle holder integratedly formed with a plurality of bristles extending from a bristle base and an embedding element formed with a plurality of bristle holes on an embedding plate wherein the embedding plate is bound with the bristle plate by high-frequency heating, burning or mechanical engagement so that the bristles will not be retracted during combing operation.
