    Abstract: A synthetic vision system includes a main processor that receives real time telemetry, the main processor retrieving tiles associated with a terrain map based on the real time telemetry, and the main processor processes the tiles corresponding to a mode of display. A rendering processor receives the tiles processed by the main processor, and the rendering processor renders the tiles into synthetic vision image. The rendering processor sends the synthetic vision image to at least one of a primary flight display (PFD), multi-functional display (MFD), and a secondary flight display (SFD). A processor in the at least one of the PFD, MFD, and SFD replaces inactive pixels (black pixels) with pixels of the synthetic vision image such that the synthetic vision image underlays the flight data displayed on the at least one of the PFD, MFD, and SFD.

    Abstract: The disclosed system and method receives, from a media device, a query fingerprint that includes an ordered sequence of frames of content being consumed, and matches the query fingerprint with frame fingerprints by determining a distance between respective frame fingerprints and corresponding ones of the ordered sequence of frames. The matching may be performed by populating a binary tree structure with respective distances, chronologically across leaf nodes of the binary tree structure, and then noting a value of the root node. If below a maximum threshold, then there is a match. The system and method may detect a channel change at the media device by traversing a right or a left sub-tree of the binary tree structure, and locating a low value (or a zero) at the first or second nodes of the sub-tree. This channel change may be useful in targeting media to content being streamed to the media device.

    Abstract: In the technical field of liquid crystal technology, a chip on film unit is provided. The chip on film unit comprises a soft dielectric layer, a plurality of pins for input signals disposed on the dielectric layer, and a first drive circuit module and a second drive circuit module. The first drive circuit module is connected with at least a portion of the pins for the input signals, and cascade wires are disposed between the first drive circuit module and the second drive circuit module for transmitting cascade signals therebetween. The number of signal channels in each of the drive circuit modules can be half of that required by the entire chip on film. As a result, the signal channels are distributed in a plurality of drive circuit modules, and the thermal efficiency can be significantly improved.

    Abstract: An oil product of gasoline is fabricated. The product contains hydrocarbon compound ranged as a gasoline composition. The purification process of dimethyl ether (DME) used in the present invention greatly reduces the feed rate for obtaining a smaller reactor with cost down. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is separated to be recycled back to the gasifier to be reused, archived or used otherwise for improves global environment. At the same time, CO2 is reacted with hydrocarbons, water vapor, etc. through a novel high-temperature plasma torch to generate a synthesis gas (syngas) of carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen (H2) for regulating a hydrogen/carbon ratio of a biomass- or hydrocarbon-synthesized compound and helping subsequent chemical synthesis reactions. In the end, the final gasoline production has a high yield, a high octane rate, low nitrogen and sulfur pollution and a highly ‘green’ quality.
