    Abstract: A first storage system in one illustrative embodiment is configured to participate in a replication process with a second storage system. The first storage system detects a replication failure condition or other condition requiring termination of a synchronous replication mode of the replication process, and responsive to the detected condition, captures a snapshot of source data that is subject to replication from the first storage system to the second storage system as part of the replication process. The first storage system terminates the synchronous replication mode of the replication process, initiates an asynchronous replication mode of the replication process, executes an asynchronous-to-synchronous transition cycle scan operation for the replication process utilizing the captured snapshot, and resumes the synchronous replication mode of the replication process responsive to successful completion of the asynchronous-to-synchronous transition cycle scan operation.

    Abstract: A copper-palladium-loaded mesoporous silicon carbide-based catalyst, a preparation method, and an application thereof are provided. First, a mesoporous silicon carbide material is prepared by using mesoporous silica as a hard template; subsequently, the mesoporous silicon carbide material is mixed with a copper-palladium precursor mixed solution, and dried after the solvent is completely volatilized. The dried powder is successively subjected to calcination with N2 and reduction with H2 to finally obtain the copper-palladium-loaded mesoporous silicon carbide-based catalyst. The catalyst is made into an electrode, and the nitrate in water body is catalytically reduced by electrochemical method. The preparation method of the catalyst of the present invention is simple. The catalyst can realize high-efficiency catalytic denitrification at a low metal loading amount, with high selectivity of nitrogen. Moreover, the catalyst has the advantages of high activity, good stability, wide application range and low cost.

The notching region covers bandwidth occupied by an incumbent system within the channel. A physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) is encoded for transmission on the channel to the AP. The PPDU is encoded to exclude transmission within the notching region.

Also provided is a method for preparing high-purity taurine, which adds the catalyst in an ammonolysis step for preparing taurine, thereby having effects of high yield, inhibition of impurity production and a reduced amount of ammonia used, etc. The catalyst has advantages of low cost, stable physical properties, and easy separation from the product. The preparation method is simple to operate with easily available raw materials and high yield, and can be employed for industrial production. Moreover, the purity of the prepared taurine can be up to 98% or higher.

In the solution, a first feature map for a first source image and a second feature map for a second source image are extracted. The first and second source images correspond to first and second views of a stereoscopic image, respectively. A first unidirectional disparity from the first source image to the second source image is determined based on the first and second source images. First and second target images having a specified visual style are generated by processing the first and second feature maps based on the first unidirectional disparity. Through the solution, a disparity between two source images of a stereoscopic image are taken into account when performing the visual style transfer, thereby maintaining a stereoscopic effect in the stereoscopic image consisting of the target images.
