  • Publication number: 20190380129
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit uplink (UL) messages in unlicensed spectrum with a reduced UL timing delay. The UL timing delay may be reduced by using a shortened transmission time interval (TTI) (e.g., a TTI that is reduced in duration relative to other TTIs in the system or in a legacy system) or by reducing the number of TTIs between a grant and the corresponding UL message. The reduced UL timing delay may decrease the likelihood that the UE will wait for a subsequent transmit opportunity (TxOp) to transmit the UL message. In some cases, the reduced UL timing delay corresponds to a reduced hybrid automatic repeat request (HARM) processing delay. In some cases, a time difference (e.g., measured in TTIs) between a measurement reference TTI a corresponding channel state information (CSI) report may also be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20190373895
Abstract: Biocidal branched polymeric biguanide compounds are made by polycondensation of sodium dicyanamide and a Afunctional primary amine and/or a tetrafunctional primary amine and optionally with a difunctional primary amine. The branched polymeric biguanide compounds have 2-dimensional conformation that provides better coverage over the surfaces of microorganisms and enhances efficacy as biocides as compared to most commercially available linear (one-dimensional) polymeric biguanide compounds. The bulkier 2-dimensional conformation of this invention limits the uptake, accumulation and release of these branched polymers to and from contact lenses. Therefore, these branched biguanide polymers can reduce the cytotoxicity, enhance compatibility and suitable for ophthalmic use. The highly branched polymers can be prepared with minimum or no difunctional primary amines.

  • Publication number: 20190378719
Abstract: Small size chip handling and electronic component integration are accomplished using handle fixturing to transfer die or other electronic components from a full area array to a targeted array. Area array dicing of a thinned device wafer on a handle wafer/panel may be followed by selective or non-selective de-bonding of targeted die or electronic components from the handle wafer and optional attachment to a carrier such as a transfer head or tape. Alignment fiducials may facilitate precision alignment of the transfer head or tape to the device wafer and subsequently to the targeted array. Alternatively, the dies or other electronic elements are transferred selectively from either a carrier or the device wafer to the targeted array.
