  • Publication number: 20060169761
Abstract: The present invention provides a floor covering having a surface that forms a boundary with an ambient environment, and that includes a structure comprising an effective quantity of electrically polarizable, pyroelectric particles disposed substantially below that surface. A method for generating negative ions is also provided that includes positioning a flooring cover within a building, where the floor covering includes a surface that forms a boundary with the ambient environment of the building. The floor covering comprises an effective quantity of pyroelectrically polarizable material disposed no more than one millimeter from the surface, so that when a person or thing travels across that surface so as to frictionally heat the pyroelectrically polarizable material, negative ions are generated. Such generation of negative ions neutralizes or reduces odor, airborne bacteria, mold spores, pollens, and other harmful particles in the air.

  • Publication number: 20060157676
Abstract: An interior building surface covering that has an ion producing material embedded in surface of covering in contact with the building air. The ion producing material continually releases ionic particles in the air from the interior building surface covering. Without the addition of electricity or other power source, negatively charged ions are emitted into the ambient air. Such generation of negative ions neutralizes or reduces odor, airborne bacteria, mold spores, pollens, and other harmful particles in the air.

  • Patent number: 6751917
Abstract: A floor tile structure, provided that a surface layer and a bottom layer are attached respectively on the upper and the lower surfaces of the soft double-sided adhesive tape with pressure sensitivity, wherein the surface layer is possibly made of ceramic, rock, metal or other hard material and the periphery is a smooth cross-section; and, the bottom layer is a hard adhesive layer, wherein the continuous periphery is concave relative to the periphery and the other opposite continuous periphery is complementarily convex; further, the concave periphery is buried in the inner edge of the periphery of the surface layer and the convex periphery is protruded to the outer edge of the periphery of the surface layer; as for the two floor tiles with the above-mentioned structure, with the adhesive layer in the convex site on the bottom layer being attached with the concave periphery on the bottom layer of the other floor tile, the tiles can be laterally apposed to pave on the working floor.

  • Publication number: 20040013844
Abstract: A base plate used for the mounting of porcelain tiles is disclosed. The base plate comprises a soft cushion and a multiple of hard supporting bodies disposed therein. The hard supporting bodies extend to the upper and lower surfaces of the soft cushion and may be disposed in the soft cushion in an orderly fashion or in a disorderly fashion. The upper surface of the soft cushion and the top surface of the hard supporting bodies are coated with a layer of pressure-sensitive glue, and a piece of paper is disposed on top of the layer for protection of the glue. The bottom surface of the tile can be adhered to the upper surface of the soft cushion. Each of the hard supporting bodies may be taken out from the soft cushion and may be inverted (with the glue-coated surface of each of them pointing down) and inserted back into the soft cushion, so that the glue-coated surface of each of them may be in contact with and adhere to the floor.

  • Publication number: 20030215615
Abstract: An environmental protection floor tile, more specifically to a floor tile made of a material not containing chlorine, which comprising a printing layer and a bottom layer. The present invention is characterized that the printing layer is composed of two transparent layers of an upper layer and a lower layer, wherein the upper transparent layer has the features for wear-resisting and easy cleaning and the lower transparent layer has the features for easy color printing; and, the embossment and color of the floor tile is printed at the bottom on the lower transparent layer.

  • Publication number: 20030194534
Abstract: A type of floor tile, provided with the bottom surface as a ragged surface, wherein the ragged surface is possibly a pressed embossment, or a ragged depth formed by coating with the self adhesive partially. By coating with the adhesive on the bottom of the raised surfaces of the ragged surface for the floor tile, or by the adherence of the self adhesive, the bottom of the floor tile is not entirely adhered with the floor, and by forming a conduit for moisture on the floor with the ragged bottom surface after adhesion, the effect for anti-moisture can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 6032780
Abstract: The present invention relates to a transit storage device for connecting rolling and hydraulic plastic/wall tile production devices. A receiving belt set is connected by a storage belt set to a delivery belt set. The receiving belt set and delivery belt set are in a tension state on the upper and lower conveyor belt sides. The upper side of the conveyor belt for the storage belt set initially has some tension but the conveyor belt on the lower side is not in tension and hangs down in a U-shape. The belt set is connected to the rear end of the rolling delivery set of plastic floor/wall tiles, and the delivery belt set is mounted on the front end of a hydraulic plastic floor/wall tiles knurling device. When the hydraulic device is carrying on knurling, material delivery to the device stops. Material can continue to be delivered by rolling delivery for transit storage of material on the storage belt set so that delivery and hydraulic action can be synchronously matched.

  • Patent number: 5098507
Abstract: A relieved plastic floor tile rolling press having an automatic alignment device comprising a surface roller from which a surface substratum with plane patterns printed thereon is unwound, a pressing roller on which recessed carves shaped the same as the plane patterns are formed to form relieved patterns on the plastic tile, and a sensing device to detect the lateral deviation and also detect the longitudinal location of the surface substratum. The sensing device also comprises a sensor to detect the rotational location of the pressing roller. The information detected by the sensing device is then sent to microprocessors to adjust the lateral location of the surface substratum and eliminate the difference between the longitudinal location of the surface substratum and the rotational location of the pressing roller.
