Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for tracking of control and error signals in optical disk drives. Successive square waves are generated as a tracking control output signal, and a tracking error signal is generated as a function of both the tracking control output signal and an offset correction factor. Due to the characteristics of the square wave, more reliable tracking is possible by the use of the square wave.

Abstract: A latch device includes a pin slidably engaged in a housing. The pin includes one end for engaging with a retainer so as to lock a door panel in place. A spring member is engaged between the pin and the housing and is made of shape memory alloy and is deformed to a shorter or longer length different from an original length so as to allow the pin to engage with the retainer. The spring member may be recovered to the original length so as to disengage the pin from the retainer when the spring member is heated such that the door panel may be opened automatically in a fire.

Abstract: An oral dispensing device includes a bottle for receiving medicine. A post is extended from the bottle and has a number of fins for forming a number of liquid passages. A nipple is engaged on the post and is secured to the bottle by a cover. A plunger is slidably engaged in the bottle for forcing the medicine outward through the orifice and the liquid passages and through the hole of the nipple in order to inject the medicine into the mouths of the babies. The medicine may also be effectively forced through the liquid passages when the nipple is bitten by babies.

Abstract: A solution feeder with a nipple includes a bottle a nipple, an inner rod and a cylindrical cap. The bottle is made of a soft elastic material and compressible to force solution contained therein to flow up through several passageways formed between the nipple and several ribs of the inner rod and through a hole in the top of the nipple into the mouth of the user even if the user resists chewing and bites the nipple.
