The structure includes a first channel region disposed over a substrate, a second channel region disposed adjacent the first channel region, a gate electrode layer disposed in the first and second channel regions, and a first dielectric feature disposed adjacent the gate electrode layer. The first dielectric feature includes a first dielectric material having a first thickness. The structure further includes a second dielectric feature disposed between the first and second channel regions, and the second dielectric feature includes a second dielectric material having a second thickness substantially less than the first thickness. The second thickness ranges from about 1 nm to about 20 nm.

    Abstract: The structure of a semiconductor device with an array of bioFET sensors, a biometric fingerprint sensor, and a temperature sensor and a method of fabricating the semiconductor device are disclosed. A method for fabricating the semiconductor device includes forming a gate electrode on a first side of a semiconductor substrate, forming a channel region between source and drain regions within the semiconductor substrate, and forming a piezoelectric sensor region on a second side of the semiconductor substrate. The second side is substantially parallel and opposite to the first side. The method further includes forming a temperature sensing electrode on the second side during the forming of the piezoelectric sensor region, forming a sensing well on the channel region, and binding capture reagents on the sensing well.

    Abstract: A pet water feeder outlet pipe with a water stop structure which includes an outlet pipe located at the bottom of a pet water feeder, a guiding torus and a concave ring groove. The guiding torus and concave ring groove are located in the inner wall of the outlet pipe respectively, and the concave ring groove is located between the outlet pipe orifice and the guiding torus. A ball is movably held in the outlet pipe, and partially projects from the orifice of the outlet pipe. A water stop washer is located in the concave ring groove, and the inner edge projects from the concave ring groove inwards. An inner ring flange is provided on the inner edge of the water stop washer, and the ball optionally clings to the water stop washer and the inner ring flange, so as to seal the outlet pipe for water stoppage.

    Abstract: A pet fountain includes a spout projecting from a reservoir, and a tap fastened at one end to the spout and provided at the other end with an opening via which a flow of water is discharged. The tap is provided with a steel ball space in communication with the spout and the opening, and a washer retained in a groove located in proximity of the opening, and a guide edge located between the groove and the steel ball space. A steel ball is movably disposed in the steel ball space such that the steel ball comes in contact with the washer, and such that the steel ball is partially extended out of the opening. The guide edge serves to prevent the steel ball from being inseparably arrested by the washer. The guide edge has a predetermined height which determines the rate of the flow of water discharged via the opening.

The spout tube is in communication with the water container and is provided in the inner wall with two locating projections between which the hollow seat is located. The hollow seat is provided in the inner wall with an annular stop edge. The ball is movably disposed in the seat such that the ball is stopped and supported by the annular stop edge, and that the ball is partially exposed through the bottom end of the spout tube so as to enable the ball to be licked by the pet, thereby resulting in the passage of water through the bottom end of the spout tube.

The spout tube is provided in the inner wall of the outer end with a stop ring. The washer is conical in form and is disposed in the spout tube such that the washer is confined by the outer end of the water outlet and the stop ring of the spout tube. The steel ball is movably received in the conical washer to allow or prevent the passage of water.
