    Abstract: An arrangement for a quick positioning of a motor of a cross-flow fan including a housing, a cross-flow fan, and an automatically adjustable motor apparatus. The motor apparatus consists of a motor body and a mounting base for the motor body. The mounting base of the motor apparatus is integrally formed with the motor body. Alternatively, the motor body and the mounting base are separately formed and then combined together. The mounting base includes a mounting member and a flange member for a rapid alignment and attachment to the mounting hole and the convex ring such that the motor may be secured from outside in place. Accordingly, a convenient assembly is achieved. Moreover, the trembling motion or the noise created during the operation will be lessened for enhancing the quality and the reliability of the cross-flow fan.

    Abstract: A magnetic sensor for an elevating motor, and more particularly to a magnetic sensor whose magnetic induction elements are sealed within a magnetically non-permeable minor sleeve. Meanwhile, a signal transmission line is extended therefrom. In addition, the minor sleeve and the magnetic induction elements are disposed within a gear box of the elevating motor. Since the magnetic sensor in accordance with the invention is designed in a built-in type, it is not easily affected and damaged by the external environment. As a result, the service life may be prolonged. Moreover, it is modularized for a compact structure and a practical installation. In addition, it approaches more to the rotational and magnetic pole, thereby enhancing the measuring accuracy.

    Abstract: An apparatus for detecting the travel of a lifting motor, comprising: a transmission unit positioned within a housing and having a reduction gearset and a transmission gear meshed with the reduction gearset; a threaded rod passing through a housing and threadedly coupled with the transmission gear. The transmission unit includes at least one magnet at one of the gears made of non-permeable material. The magnets are rotated clockwise or counterclockwise with the non-permeable gear when the transmission unit is driven by the motor in rotation. The number of rotation will be detected by a magnetic sensor disposed at the housing through the magnetic line of force generated by the magnet. Thereafter, the detection signals will be transmitted to a travel-calculation unit for measuring the linear displacement distance (travel) of the threaded rod in axial direction. In this way, the built-in detecting structure includes an integral arrangement and is easily secured to the treadmill.

    Abstract: A lifting mechanism for an exercise apparatus frame base includes a housing made of lightweight material with a positioning cavity having a through hole. A covering cap having a circular internal rim is integrally formed within the positioning cavity and made by high strength material an injection molding process is performed. The bottom of the covering cap includes an axle hole corresponding to the through hole. The top of the covering cap has an opening with a positioning flange extending outwards. In this way, the drawback that the inside of the conventional plastic housing is easily damaged by the transmission gear can be eliminated. As a result, the weight can be minimized and the strength can be maintained.

    Abstract: A transmission mechanism capable of simultaneously measuring and controlling the transmission travel includes: a) a transmission unit having a reduction gearset and a transmission gear both of which are disposed within a housing; b) a motor installed at the external side of the housing for supplying power to the transmission unit; c) a transmission rod passing through the housing so as to engage with the transmission gear; d) a fixing sleeve disposed at the external side of the housing und mounted at one end of the transmission rod; and e) a sensing element opposing to the transmission gear and disposed within the housing for measuring the number of the rotation of the transmission gear. The sensing element is a magnetic reed pipe, and at least a magnet is disposed at the transmission gear. In this way, a transmission mechanism capable of simultaneously measuring and controlling the transmission travel ensures an accurate control of the transmission travel.

The output gear is disposed between a first housing half and a second housing half, which are formed with first and second cylindrical portions, respectively. The long shaft section is disposed rotatably within the first cylindrical portion. The short shaft section and a thrust bearing are disposed rotatably within the second cylindrical portion. As such, a threaded rod which engages the threaded axial hole in the shaft can move axially and smoothly on the first and second housing halves, thereby reducing output torque loss of the threaded rod when moving in a first direction.
