  • Patent number: 6910919
Abstract: A connector comprises an integral housing comprising a mouth at one end, a recess inside the mouth, and an internal shell projected toward the recess for forming an annular cavity between the shell and the recess; and a hollow resilient member confined in the mouth. Inserting a coaxial cable into the shell will project the central conductor from the housing, cause the shell to penetrate a junction between the insulating medium and the outside conductor, receive the insulating medium in the shell, bend the outside conductor to cover a portion of the outermost insulating sleeve, and urge the resilient member against the insulating sleeve for securing the resilient member to the cable. Further, the housing is rotatable about the resilient member and the cable.

  • Publication number: 20040218857
Abstract: A duplex optical transceiver module comprises a body having a first open channel, a second open channel, and a sleeve. A normal line of the first open channel is vertical to that of the second open channel. The first open channel receives an optical transmitting module and the second open channel receives an optical receiving module. An optical fiber is coaxially arranged in a fiber connector in the body at an opposite end of the first open channel. A filter is obliquely arranged at an intersect section of the first open channel and the second open channel. One side of the fiber facing to the optical transmitting module is coated with material which transmits light from the optical transmitting module. Another side of the filter facing the optical receiving module is coated with material which totally reflects light from the optical fiber.

  • Patent number: 6808313
Abstract: An optical fiber connector includes a first elongated portion with a first conical head and a first through hole. A second elongated portion has a second through hole defined to correspond to and communicate with the first through hole of the first elongated portion after the first distal end of the second elongated portion is received in the first elongated portion and a second conical head. Two hollow retaining elements respectively have a tapered through hole to correspond to the first and second conical head so that after the first conical head and the second conical head are respectively in a corresponding one of the two retaining elements, a diameter of the first through hole and a diameter of the second through hole are reduced so that a filament of an optical fiber is able to be securely retained inside the first and second through holes.

  • Patent number: 6767248
Abstract: Connector connectable to a coaxial cable is disclosed. The connector includes outer and inner sleeves, a cylindrical coupling fitted on the outer sleeve, the coupling including a rear inward flange, and a flexible sealing ring surrounded by the coupling, the ring including a flared front end, a flared rear end urged against the flange, and a narrow intermediate section. Inserting the cable into the coupling will fit an outer insulator of the cable in the inner sleeve to electrically couple the cable and the connector together with an outer conductor and a shield of the cable disposed inside the outer sleeve. Pushing the coupling will compress the ring to urge against the front end of the ring against the rear end of the outer sleeve and recess the intermediate section to fasten on the shield. This can prohibit moisture from entering thereinto, thereby preventing internal conductive members from being rusted.
