    Abstract: The steering wheel lock contains a main member having a clamp piece for fixedly locking the rim of a steering wheel, an alarm module housed in the main member and triggered if an abnormal situation is detected, a surveillance module that, when the alarm module is triggered, conducts video recording through a built-in digital camera, and a radio communication module housed in the main member which receives video signal from the surveillance module and transmits the video signal through a mobile communication network. When the alarm module is triggered, the surveillance module is then activated to start recording the interior of the motor vehicle. The car owner then could monitor what happens inside the motor vehicle and decide whether to take further action using a mobile communication device.

    Abstract: A steering wheel lock having an ultrasonic-wave alarm system includes a lock main body to be mounted on a steering wheel so that the rotation of the steering wheel is constrained and an anti-theft alarm circuit located within an outer shell of the lock main body, which is activated upon the engagement of the lock main body and the steering wheel. The anti-theft alarm circuit further includes at least a set of detecting unit and a central processing unit (CPU) for detecting a moving body in the automobile. The detecting unit consists of an ultrasonic wave emitter for sending ultrasonic waves toward the inner space of the automobile and an ultrasonic wave receiver for receiving and treating the reflected waves. The treated signals are sent to the CPU for recognition. If the signals are anomalous, the anti-theft alarm circuit will start a predetermined alarming process to scare away suspicious people and to notify the automobile owner.

    Abstract: A vehicle burglar alarm lock has a body capable of being locked to an annular handle of a steering wheel. An alarming circuit in the body is capable of being actuated for operation. The alarming circuit has an independent battery set not being connected to a vehicle battery as a power supply. A central processing unit is operated responsive to a signal from a pressure variation detecting loop. The pressure variation detecting loop comprises: a filtering loop, a power regulating loop, a pressure sensing loop, a low pass amplifying loop, and positive and negative comparing loops for amplifying the signals and then outputting the signal to the central processing unit.     Abstract: A padlock with a built-in anti-theft alarm device that is comprised of a padlock mechanism consisting of a lock structure having a rotational locking pintle bar that is revolved a certain angle to achieve locking and unlocking, a cam suitably positioned at the center of the pintle bar, an electric switch that is actuated by the cam pushing against a switching device, an alarm circuit with an independent power supply and a vibration sensor device. The rotation of the pintle bar revolves the cam such that the lobe pushes against and closes the electric switch, which initiates the operation of the alarm circuit. The vibration sensor device triggers the alarm circuit to emit an alarm sound whenever abnormal vibration is detected. The alarm circuit has an independent power supply that is securely protected by the outer padlock case to prevent damage and power loss.
