  • Patent number: 12294236
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing flow batteries utilize a battery management controller (BMC) coupled between a flow battery and a DC/DC converter, which is coupled to an electrical grid or a photovoltaic device via an inverter. The inverter converts an AC voltage to a first DC voltage and the DC/DC converter steps down the first DC voltage to a second DC voltage. The BMC includes a first power route, a second power route, and a current source converter coupled to the second power route. The BMC initializes the flow battery with a third DC voltage using the current source converter until a sensing circuit senses that the voltage of the flow battery has reached a predetermined voltage. The sensing circuit may include a capacitor, which has a small capacitance and is coupled across each cell of the flow battery, coupled in series between two resistors having very large resistances.

  • Patent number: 12274587
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that automatically determine whether a prospective surgical trajectory will collide with a patient's skull using a 3D representation of the patient's cranial region (including the patient's scalp, skull, and brain) adapted from imaging data of the patient's cranial region (e.g., MRI data or CT data). Taking a particular patient's varied skull thickness into account, examples can determine bone collision during a trajectory planning stage before or after a stereotactic frame is mounted to the patient. Accordingly, examples may preemptively alert a clinician to a potential bone collision before the prospective surgical trajectory is underway/has been executed, thereby reducing the risk of bone collision during the surgical procedure.

  • Publication number: 20250105330
Abstract: This application relates to the field of battery production equipment technologies, and in particular, to a cutting-off apparatus and battery assembly line production equipment. The cutting-off apparatus at least includes a slitting mechanism and a supporting element. With the provision of a supporting element connected to the slitting mechanism, the supporting element can provide a supporting force acting on a target electrode plate when the slitting mechanism in a cutting-off position is cutting off the separator. Then, when the separator rebounds due to being cut off and impacts the target electrode plate, the target electrode plate can avoid skewness due to the rebound of the separator under the support of the supporting element, thereby alleviating the problem of wrinkles of the electrode plate caused by the separator being cut off during winding of an electrode stack and reducing the risk of defects inside the battery.
