Each of the damping members has a rotatable portion (32). The rotatable portions are rotatable relative to the first cage about rotational axes thereof. The second cage is capable of sliding into the first cage in a sliding direction, and contacting with the rotatable portions of the damping members. The rotational axes of the rotatable portions of the damping members are generally perpendicular to the sliding direction of the second cage.

Abstract: A mounting structure is used for mounting a first data storage device or a second data storage device. A first guiding tab is formed on a side surface of the second data storage device. A second guiding tab is formed on a side surface of the second data storage device. A height of the first guiding tab from a bottom surface of the first data storage device is different than a height of the second guiding tab from a bottom surface of the second data storage device. The mounting structure includes a bracket and a sliding member. The bracket includes a side wall. A flange is formed on an edge of the side wall. A first guiding slot is defined in the side wall and extends to the flange to define a first guiding entry. Abstract: An electronic device includes a chassis, a tray, and a securing member. The chassis is configured to hold electronic elements having cables, and includes a rear plate having an outer surface. The tray is attachable to the outer surface of the rear plate, and includes a bottom wall substantially perpendicular to the rear plate of the chassis. The securing member secured on the bottom wall of the tray and includes a latch portion resiliently deformable for maintaining the cables between the latch portion and the bottom wall.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus is configured for securing an expansion card with a support portion, and includes a chassis with a plate, and a securing member pivotably secured on the plate. The plate defines an opening for the support portion of the expansion card inserting therethrough. A positioning portion is formed on the plate to locate the support portion of the expansion card. The positioning portion defines a locking hole therein. The securing member includes a bent portion and a locking portion to sandwich the support portion of the expansion card and the positioning portion of the plate therebetween. A locking block protrudes from the locking portion to engage in the locking hole of the positioning portion. The locking portion is resiliently deformable to disengage the locking block from the locking hole of the positioning portion.

Abstract: A riser card assembly includes a bracket with a riser card secured therein, a handle, and a sliding mechanism. At least one expansion card is connected with the riser card and received in the bracket. The sliding mechanism slidably secures the handle to the bracket. The sliding mechanism includes at least one guiding pin formed on one of the handle and the bracket, and at least one slot receiving the guiding pin sliding therein defined in the other of the handle and the bracket. The at least one guiding pin slides in the at least one slot between a first position where the handle is in a retracted state to be together with the bracket, and a second position where the handle is in an extended state to be away from the bracket.
