Abstract: A method for sample alignment is applied to a first participant system, where a first trusted execution environment is deployed at the first participant system. The method includes, in the first trusted execution environment, obtaining at least one first sample identifier of the first participant system; through the first trusted execution environment, obtaining at least one second sample identifier of the second participant system from the second trusted execution environment, where the second trusted execution environment is deployed at the second participant system; in the first trusted execution environment, determining the first initial intersection of the at least one first sample identifier and the at least one second sample identifier and performing the shuffle processing on all first target sample identifiers in the first initial intersection to obtain the first target intersection; and based on the first target intersection, determining the first sample alignment result.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for simulating advertising auction results for a listing using auction data from auctions in which the listing previously participated. The simulation allows an advertiser to determine a bid price that would have resulted in a particular outcome. The simulation may be performed by rerunning auctions in which the listing participated by maintaining the characteristics of all other bids that actually participated in the auction while changing the bid price for the listing being simulated. The simulation may be repeated multiple times with different bid prices to create a distribution of auction results that correspond to various bid prices.

Abstract: A computer automatically changes a web page that would otherwise be normally generated by a first application program (such as a web-conferencing tool for example) in a first language (e.g. English), by adding metadata to one or more translatable text strings in the web page. The changed web page is displayed to a human translator by a second application program (e.g. the browser is equipped with a plug-in) to receive translation(s) of the translatable text string(s) into a second language (e.g. French). The translations are used as replacements for the translatable text strings, to create a translated version of the first application program, in the second language.
