    Abstract: Provided is a control method for a parallel MMC unit of a LCC-MMC hybrid cascade converter station. The control strategy includes: 1) numbering all MMC units connected in parallel in a MMC valve manifold; (2) for a MMC unit using a constant direct-current voltage control manner, calculating a direct-current instruction value of the MMC unit according to a direct-current measurement value; (3) for a MMC unit using a constant active power control manner, calculating an active power instruction value of the MMC unit according to the rated capacity of the MMC unit and a direct-current instruction value of a system rectifier station; (4) for the MMC unit using the constant direct-current voltage control manner, correcting a direct-current voltage instruction value of the MMC unit by using the direct-current instruction value and the direct-current measurement value, and controlling the MMC unit according to the corrected direct-current voltage instruction value.

By using this approach, interference suppression involving a primary user and a secondary user can be optimized to ensure superior system performance of a primary system.

    Abstract: An electro-optic combiner includes a polarization splitter and rotator (PSR) that directs a portion of incoming light having a first polarization through a first optical waveguide (OW). The PSR directs the polarization-rotated light through a second OW. Each of the first and second OW's has a respective combiner section. The first and second OW combiner sections extend parallel to each other and have opposite light propagation directions. A plurality of ring resonators is disposed between the combiner sections of the first and second OW's and within an evanescent optically coupling distance of both the first and second OW's. Each of ring resonators operates at a respective resonant wavelength to optically couple light from the combiner section of the first OW into the combiner section of the second OW.

The output data from DNN output is provided for the encoding process or the decoding process. The DNN can be used to restore pixel values of the target signal or to predict a sign of one or more residual pixels between the target signal and an original signal. An absolute value of one or more residual pixels can be signalled in the video bitstream and used with the sign to reduce residual error of the target signal.
