    Abstract: A liquid crystal display, especially relative to a liquid crystal display utilizing the BBVA technique, is provided. The liquid crystal display has a first substrate having a first electrode thereon, a second substrate having a second electrode having at least a hole, a liquid crystal layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate, a third electrode located between the second electrode and the second substrate and a fourth electrode located on the third electrode. The third electrode is located corresponding to the hole of the second electrode, and the fourth electrode has at least a portion located inside the hole of the second electrode.
