    Abstract: A display may include an array of pixels that receive control signals from a chain of gate drivers. The pixels can be formed using semiconducting oxide transistors, whereas the gate drivers can be formed using silicon transistor. Each gate driver may include a shift register subcircuit and an output buffer subcircuit. The shift register subcircuit may include a first set of transistors at least partially controlled by one or more shift register clock signals. The output buffer subcircuit may include a second set of transistors at least partially controlled by one or more output buffer clock signals. The output buffer clock signals can toggle independently from the shift register clock signals. Operated in this way, the shift register clock signals can have pulse widths optimized for stability while the output buffer clock signals can have pulse widths optimized for speed.

    Abstract: A multifunctional cleaning pen and a method for cleaning an object are disclosed. The cleaning pen includes a main body, a pen head assembly, an air supply assembly, and a control assembly. The pen head assembly can lift or adsorb a target object for examination onto a platform by a vacuum through the pen, avoiding physical contact with the object by hard tools. The air supply assembly is inside the main body and the control assembly is on a surface of the main body. When the object is in place, it can be cleaned by a jet of air forced out of the pen, and also by a vibrated alcohol wiper on the pen. By utilizing the multifunctional cleaning pen, a cleaning effect in relation to fragile and delicate materials such as camera, mobile phone speaker, and card tray, is improved.

    Abstract: A system for laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is provided. The system for the LIBS includes a laser module generating a first pulse laser and a second pulse laser. An optical delay device incident by the second pulse laser is used to increase an optical path of the second pulse laser. A Kerr medium incident by the second pulse laser generates a time gate, and allows a plasma light beam generated from a sample incident by the first pulse laser, passing through the time gate and being output at a time point. A detection device receives and measures the plasma light beam output at the time point to generate a signal. A processing module connected to the detection device detects a signal, and compares the signal with a data base to obtain information concerning a composition and element concentrations of the sample.
