  • Patent number: 8780333
Abstract: A range finder adapted for finding the object distance of a subject having a specific height includes a shell unit, an objective lens assembly, a magnifying unit having multiple selectable magnification ratios, and a range finding unit. The range finding unit includes a scale, a pointer, and a mark. The object distance of the subject is known by comparing the scale and the pointer in an imaging plane when an end of an image of the specific height of the subject formed on the imaging plane is aligned with the mark.

  • Patent number: 8132353
Abstract: A laser sight is disclosed, including a housing which defines a first central axis, an objective module, an eyepiece, an erecting system, and an adjusting member. The objective module is fixed to a first end of the housing, and the eyepiece is fixed to a second end of the housing, opposite to the first end. The erecting system is movably disposed between the objective module and the eyepiece and comprises a laser rangefinder defining a second central axis. The adjusting member is movably disposed on the housing and connected to the erecting system. During windage and elevation adjustments, the adjusting member moves with respect to the housing and impels the laser rangefinder, such that the first and second axes form an included angle.

  • Patent number: 8109031
Abstract: The electronic sight includes a base, an optical window, a point light source, a photomask and a low-reflective layer. The optical window is disposed on a first end of the base. The point light source, disposed on a second end of the base, provides a lightbeam. The photomask is disposed between the point light source and the optical window, and the low-reflective layer is formed thereon. The lightbeam passes through the photomask along a first direction, hits the optical window, and is reflected toward a second direction by the optical window. The method for manufacturing the electronic sight includes: providing a base; providing an optical window disposed on a first end of the base; providing a point light source disposed on a second end of the base; providing a photomask; forming a low-reflective layer on the photomask; and positioning the photomask between the point light source and the optical window.

  • Publication number: 20080062514
Abstract: A digital telescopic sight includes an objective lens group (202), a light collecting lens (204), an erecting lens group (206), an eyepiece lens group (212), a semi-reflecting mirror (208) and an image sensor (210). The incident exterior light rays are sequentially transmitted through the objective lens group, the light collecting lens and the erecting lens group, and then incident onto the semi-reflecting mirror. The semi-reflecting mirror reflects a portion of the light rays onto the image sensor, and transmits the remaining primary light rays to the eyepiece lens group for enabling the user to view the image. The image sensor receives the reflected portion of the light rays, converts it into an electrical signal, and finally transmits the electrical signal to a digital signal processor for further image signal processing.
