    Abstract: The present disclosure, in some embodiments, relates to a method of forming an integrated chip structure. The method may be performed by forming a plurality of interconnect layers within a first interconnect structure disposed over an upper surface of a first semiconductor substrate. An edge trimming process is performed to remove parts of the first interconnect structure and the first semiconductor substrate along a perimeter of the first semiconductor substrate. The edge trimming process results in the first semiconductor substrate having a recessed surface coupled to the upper surface by way of an interior sidewall disposed directly over the first semiconductor substrate. A dielectric protection layer is formed onto a sidewall of the first interconnect structure after performing the edge trimming process.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for measuring pulsed laser output. An example system comprises a laser configured to emit output in pulses; at least one sensor positioned to sense laser output and configured to convert that output into electrical signals; an edge detector configured to detect at least leading edges of a plurality of laser pulses; an analog to digital converter configured to convert electrical signals from a sensor into digital signals indicative of laser power output; and a controller; wherein, based on the detection of at least the leading edges of the laser pulses, the controller is configured to obtain samples of laser power output during the laser pulses. The system may refrain from sampling laser power output between laser pulses or may sample laser power output between laser pulses at a reduced sample rate. The system may use the samples of laser power output in a feedback loop to automatically adjust laser power.

A method of preparing a sintered NdFeB magnet therefore comprises the steps of: a) preparing alloy flakes from a raw material of the NdFeB magnet by a strip casting process; and b) preparing a coarse alloy powder from the alloy flakes by a hydrogen decrepitation process, the hydrogen decrepitation process including treatment of the alloy flakes under a hydrogen pressure of 0.10 MPa to 0.25 MPa for a duration of 1 to 3.5 hours, then degassing the hydrogen at a predetermined temperature between 300° C. to 400° C. for a duration time of 0.5 to 5 hours, and then mixing the resulting coarse alloy powder with a lubricant.

    Abstract: Examples described herein can be used to calibrate resistances provided by pull-up and pull-down circuits in an output driver circuit. A first reference voltage can be determined and applied to set a resistance level of a pull-up circuit to a desired level. A code for activating one or more transistor in the pull-up circuit can be determined against the first reference voltage. For a pull-down circuit, a second reference voltage can be set a resistance level of the pull-down circuit to a desired level. The resistance level of the pull-down circuit can be set to equal to the resistance level of the pull-up circuit. A second code can be set for activating one or more transistor in the pull-down circuit. The first and second reference voltages can be represented by index values. The code and second code can be stored for use by the pull-up circuit and pull-down circuit. Re-calibration of the pull-up and pull-down circuits can be performed to determine codes using the first and second reference voltages.
