    Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a model for predicting the release profile of a controlled release device. The implant modeling system and models disclosed herein allow the accurate prediction of a release profile for a controlled release device based on features extracted from micro-resolution imagery. The models combine microstructural features that can be extracted at the XRCT resolution, including pore volume and connectivity, using erosion-dilation image analysis. This strategy allows prediction of release curves of the controlled release device using XRCT despite its resolution limitations.

    Abstract: An orthodontic appliance may include an archwire and multiple orthodontic brackets. The archwire may fit within a human mouth and contain multiple male connectors. Each orthodontic bracket may have a configuration that facilitates attaching the orthodontic bracket to a single tooth. Each orthodontic bracket may allow one of the male connectors to be locked into the orthodontic bracket with a snapping action. The male connector may be unable to slide with respect to the orthodontic bracket after being locked in the orthodontic bracket. A manual unlocking action may allow the male connector to disengage from the orthodontic bracket.

One of the methods includes obtaining training data for a dense image prediction task; and determining an architecture for a neural network configured to perform the dense image prediction task, comprising: searching a space of candidate architectures to identify one or more best performing architectures using the training data, wherein each candidate architecture in the space of candidate architectures comprises (i) the same first neural network backbone that is configured to receive an input image and to process the input image to generate a plurality of feature maps and (ii) a different dense prediction cell configured to process the plurality of feature maps and to generate an output for the dense image prediction task; and determining the architecture for the neural network based on the best performing candidate architectures.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a flat cable, which comprises signal unit sets and the insulating layer which wraps and fixes the signal unit set. The signal unit set is formed by at least two signals units arranged substantially on the same plane at an interval or side by side. The left and right sides of the signal unit set are directly wrapped by insulating layers. The insulating layer is formed by splicing and bonding at least one insulating film, and the splicing points at two ends of the insulating film are located on the upper side or the lower side of the signal unit set. In the flat cable of the present invention, the length of the overlapping portion can be set as required, effectively preventing the phenomenon such as insulating film tear and short circuit caused by insulating film tear.

    Abstract: A system for determining a colonoscopy image is disclosed. The system includes a bowel preparation evaluation unit, an image processing unit electrically or communicatively connected to the bowel evaluation unit, and a convolutional neural network unit electrically or communicatively connected to the image processing unit. The bowel preparation evaluation unit determines whether a bowel in the colonoscopy image is clean. The image processing unit receives the colonoscopy image determined to have a clean bowel and outputted by the bowel preparation evaluation unit, and performs an image process on the colonoscopy image with clean bowel to adjust a contrast thereof. The convolutional neural network unit comprises a convolutional neural network and in a working mode, receives and determines whether the processed colonoscopy image is a cecal image, a non-cecal image, or an indeterminable colonoscopy image.

    Abstract: An in-vehicle radar detection system includes a first radar module and a second radar module separately mounted on a lateral of a vehicle. The first radar module gives a first radar signal that defines a first detection range. The second radar module gives a second radar signal that defines a second detection range.     Abstract: The disclosure describes techniques for eliminating or reducing non-wet open (NWO) defect formation by using a low activity flux to prevent a solder paste from sticking to ball grid array (BGA) solder balls during reflow soldering. The low activity flux may be configured such that: i) it creates a barrier that prevents the solder paste from sticking to the solder balls of the BGA; and ii) it does not impede the formation of solder joints during reflow. In implementations, a solid coating of the low activity flux may be formed over balls of the BGA, and the BGA may then be bonded to a PCB during reflow. In implementations, the balls of a BGA may be dipped in a low-activity creamy or liquid flux prior to reflow. In some implementations, the flux may applied on a solder paste printed on pads of the PCB, followed by placement of a BGA.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a real-time normalization apparatus and method of the PGC demodulation in a sinusoidal phase modulation interferometer. An optical setup containing a measuring interferometer and a monitoring interferometer is constructed. An electro-optic phase modulator is placed in the common reference arm of the two interferometers. High-frequency sinusoidal wave modulation and low-frequency triangular wave modulation are applied to the electro-optic phase modulator at the same time. Sinusoidal modulation is used for generating phase carrier, and PGC demodulation is performed to obtain quadrature signals containing the phase information to be measured. Triangular wave modulation makes the quadrature signals change periodically. Ellipse fitting is performed on the Lissajous figure corresponding to the quadrature signals, and real-time normalization of the PGC demodulated quadrature signals is achieved.
