    Abstract: Embodiments of substrate supports and process chambers equipped with the same are provided. In some embodiments, a substrate support includes: a support body having a first surface; one or more receptacles extending through the first surface and into the support body; and one or more protrusions respectively disposed within corresponding ones of the one or more receptacles and projecting from the first surface, wherein the one or more protrusions at least partially define a substantially planar support surface above the first surface. Methods of eliminating backside wafer damage are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A supported metallocene catalyst includes a carrier and a metallocene component. The carrier includes an inorganic oxide particle and an alkyl aluminoxane material. The inorganic oxide particle includes at least one inorganic oxide compound selected from the group consisting of an oxide of Group 3A and an oxide of Group 4A. The alkyl aluminoxane material includes an alkyl aluminoxane compound and an alkyl aluminum compound that is present in amount ranging from greater than 0.01 wt % to less than 14 wt % base on 100 wt % of the alkyl aluminoxane material. The metallocene component is supported on the carrier, and includes one of a metallocene compound containing a metal from Group 3B, a metallocene compound containing a metal from Group 4B, and a combination thereof. A method for preparing the supported metallocene catalyst and a method for preparing polyolefin using the supported metallocene catalyst are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A method for creating a Gamma look-up table (LUT) includes: calculating interpolated display characteristics of a plurality of colors by using a nonlinear interpolation algorithm based on a plurality of display characteristics of the predetermined patterns wherein the number of the display characteristics is smaller than the product of the number of the colors and the number of the interpolated display characteristics of the colors; and correcting the interpolated display characteristics of the colors on the basis of a maximum display characteristic value and a reference gamma value so that the Gamma look-up table is created. The predetermined patterns comprise a plurality of gray level patterns which one-by-one correspond to a plurality of levels, and the interval of a pair of adjacent gray level patterns among the gray level patterns is different from the interval of another pair of adjacent gray level patterns among the gray level patterns.
