    Abstract: The disclosure provides a power management method. The power management method is applicable to an electronic device. The electronic device is electrically coupled to an adapter, and includes a system and a battery. The adapter has a feed power. The battery has a discharge power. The power management method of the disclosure includes: reading a power value of the battery; determining a state of the system; and discharging power to the system, when the system is in a power-on state and the power value is greater than a charging stopping value, by using the battery, and controlling, according to the discharge power and the feed power, the adapter to selectively supply power to the system. The disclosure further provides an electronic device using the power management method.

    Abstract: A method for measuring a saturated photorefractive index and a recording time constant to correct the precision includes measuring the diffraction efficiency as a function of time for both phase matching and phase mismatching. The saturated photorefractive index and the recording time constant are verified by substitution into a theoretical formula derived from the Coupled Wave Theory. Thus, the method allows a precise determination of the dynamic range of volume holographic memories and thus their storage capacities. The same procedure can also apply to photopolymers.

The droplets sequentially reside on a microdialysis membrane that is in contact with the test fluid, e.g., fluid in an extracellular space. The droplets remain stationary at the membrane site for a period of time for rapid equilibration with the test fluid, and is then marched to an outlet port for processing. The invention further relates to microdialysis probes and methods based on the droplet-based digital microdialysis.

    Abstract: A method for making shaped information-storage material of photo polymers includes mixing powdery azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) and powdery acenaphthenequinone (AQ) into liquid monomers of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and stirring a mixture of the AIBN, AQ, and MMA to form a solution. The azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) serves as a thermo polymerization initiator, and the acenaphthenequinone (AQ) serves as a photo polymerization initiator. The solution is filtered to remove the saturated photo polymerization initiator. Then, the filtered solution is poured into a shaping container and heated in the shaping container to make solid, shaped information-storage material of photo polymers. The shaping container is then opened to remove the shaped information-storage material of photo polymers. The shaped information-storage material of photo polymers includes two flat lateral sides.
