The housing defines a number of heat dissipating grooves. The battery pack further includes a number of electrically-insulated heat conductive pads received in the heat dissipating grooves and at least one heat conductive plate. The heat conductive plate forms a number of first protrusions and is mounted on the housing. The first protrusions extend into the heat dissipating grooves pressing the electrically-insulated heat conductive pads close to the electrical connection plate module.

Each battery unit includes two battery cells aligned with and spaced from each other. The heat dissipation unit includes one or more heat-conducting elements, a cooling box, and one or more connecting elements. Each battery unit has at least one heat-conducting element in contact with side surfaces of the two battery cells at the same side and coupled to one of the one or more connecting elements. Each connecting element is positioned between the two battery cells of one of the one or more battery units and secured to the cooling box to transmit the heat from the one or more heat-conducting elements to the cooling box.
