  • Patent number: 11954453
Abstract: Systems and methods for natural language generation by an edge computing device are disclosed. In one embodiments, a method comprises: receiving, by an edge computing device, event data from an edge event; determining, by the edge computing device, that a network connection to a cloud server is not available; extracting, by the edge computing device, features of the event data; predicting, by a local neural network of the edge computing device, an action for the edge computing device to take based on the features of the event data, wherein the action is associated with a confidence level; and determining, by the edge computing device, whether the confidence level meets a predetermined threshold value.

  • Patent number: 5087302
Abstract: A process for producing a rare earth magnet of magnetically improved performance wherein a specific titanate coupling agent is added in one step of the process to enhance the oxidation resistance of the raw materials during production and a special degassing step is incorporated to allow for the removal of the residual titanate coupling agent. The resultant rare earth magnet exhibits improved maximum magnetic energy product ((BH).sub.max) and magnetic coercive force (H.sub.c) as well as other magnetic properties. Rare earth magnet produced by the process is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5064465
Abstract: A process for preparing by a reduction/diffusion method rare earth-iron-boron alloy powders useful in permanent magnets. The process generates rare earth-iron-boron alloy powders having large and uniform particle sizes with minimal contamination. The process entails the use of a seed alloy among the starting materials, the seed alloy having substantially the same composition as the rare earth-iron-boron alloy to be prepared.

  • Patent number: 4978110
Abstract: A fire protection umbrella, which comprises a fire-proof umbrella cover coated with fire retarding paint and fully covered with ceramic elements or ceramic wafers. A flash light is attached to the handle of the umbrella to produce light. A hood is attached to the bottom of the umbrella cover to cover one's head on an emergency. The umbrella ribs may be bound up with the shaft of the umbrella frame by a cord to prevent the umbrella cover from collapse in counter direction so that the umbrella may be used as a parachute to help one escape from a high-raised building.
