  • Patent number: 10085661
Abstract: A system for locating the existence of a biventricular pace pulse for ECG, which includes a non-biventricular pulse detector for finding the onsets of ventricular pulses, a lead-wise biventricular pulse detector for checking whether there are two separated ventricular pulses in one heartbeat, and a vector-based biventricular pulse detector for determining the existence of the biventricular pace pulse if the lead-wise biventricular pulse detector does not find that there are two separated ventricular pulses in one heartbeat.

  • Patent number: 9782102
Abstract: Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is diagnosed if: (1) the ECG traces satisfy an ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) criterion and the ECG traces do not indicate the subject has a confounding cardiac condition, or (2) the ECG traces satisfy the STEMI criterion and the ECG traces also indicate the subject has the confounding cardiac condition and a three-dimensional vector cardiograph (3D-VCG) signal generated from the ECG traces includes an ST vector in the ST segment of the 3D-VCG signal and a terminal QRS vector of maximum magnitude in a terminal portion of the QRS complex of the 3D-VCG signal for which the angle between the ST vector and the terminal QRS vector is less than a threshold angle, e.g. in the range [130°, 170°] inclusive. The confounding cardiac condition may be bundle branch block (BBB), left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH), or interventricular conduction delay (IVCD).

  • Patent number: 9603532
Abstract: A diagnostic ECG system analyzes lead traces for evidence of ST elevation in the lead signals. The pattern of ST elevation in leads having predetermined vantage points to the electrical activity of the heart and, in some instances, the presence of ST depression in certain other leads, identifies a specific coronary artery or branch as the culprit coronary artery for an acute ischemic event. ECG measurements which are associated with the identity of specific arterial occlusion locations are calculated and used to form a classifier of the probability of occlusion at different locations. The location identified as having the highest probability is indicated to a user as the most likely occlusion location.

  • Patent number: 7509095
Abstract: A method for identifying occurrence of shadowing phenomenon is to be implemented using a wireless communications system that includes signal transmitting and receiving devices. The signal-receiving device periodically executes a synchronization process to evaluate quality of wireless communications conducted through a signal transmission path between the signal transmitting and receiving devices. A set of signal-state estimated values that includes phase and power parameters is generated during each synchronization process. The method includes: collecting the phase parameters for a number of the synchronization processes; generating a set of Poincaré coordinate data from the collected phase parameters; analyzing distribution of the set of Poincaré coordinate data on a Poincaré map; and determining that the signal transmission path is experiencing a shadowing phenomenon in case of a non-elliptical distribution.
