The method includes: displaying a first region and a second region on the touch screen; adjusting the first region and the second region according to a tilting state of the electronic device; receiving a touch operation performed on the touch screen; and switching the electronic device to an unlock mode when the touch operation starts in the first region and ends in the second region.
