  • Patent number: 11959101
Abstract: A cell activation reactor and a cell activation method are provided. The cell activation reactor includes a body, a rotating part, an upper cover, a microporous film, and multiple baffles. The body has an accommodating space, which is suitable for accommodating multiple cells and multiple magnetic beads. The rotating part is disposed in the accommodating space and includes multiple impellers. The microporous film is disposed in the accommodating space and covers multiple holes of the accommodating space. The baffles are disposed in the body. When the rotating part is driven to rotate, the interaction between the baffles and the impellers separates the cells and the magnetic beads.

  • Publication number: 20050246310
Abstract: A computer implemented file conversion method for converting an index file. The index file includes file paths, and each file path corresponds to an actual file. The method first reads the file paths from the index file. If the actual files corresponding to the file paths are files of a first format, the method converts the actual files to files of a second format. Finally, the method designates the file paths of the index file to the converted files.

  • Publication number: 20050033732
Abstract: A search engine (100) has a top down transversal algorithm (112) that distinguishes active objects of a website from orphan files depicted in graphs of HTML files of a graph database of the objects and their HTML relations. A collection building utility (120) assembles a batch collection of solely the active objects for retrieval by a search query, which prevents retrieval of an orphan file that would provide a website visitor with incorrect information.

  • Publication number: 20030221007
Abstract: A method of crisis management for an application server. The method comprises steps of storing a first threshold, creating an engine operating in normal mode wherein the engine opens and closes a session for each client logging onto and off of the application server respectively, monitoring occupied memory space of the engine resulting from the opening of the sessions, switching the engine from normal mode to drain mode wherein the engine does not open sessions for new clients but continues closing sessions for clients logging out when the occupied memory space is larger than the first threshold, and shutting down the engine operating in drain mode when all the sessions are closed.
