    Abstract: The present invention relates to a cholesteric liquid crystal display, a liquid crystal driving unit, and a driving method for reducing the maximum driving voltage. The cholesteric liquid crystal display comprises a cholesteric liquid crystal display panel, a temperature detecting device, and a liquid crystal driving unit. If the temperature detecting device detects a temperature below the optimal range for the cholesteric liquid crystal display panel, the liquid crystal driving unit will operate the cholesteric liquid crystal display panel in DDS timing mode. When the temperature detecting device detects that the temperature of the display panel exceeds the optimal temperature range, the liquid crystal driving unit will operate the display panel in PWM timing mode, which can solve the problem of increased power consumption caused by changes in ambient temperature, and can greatly improve the better color level.

The power management method of the disclosure includes: reading a power value of the battery; determining a state of the system; and discharging power to the system, when the system is in a power-on state and the power value is greater than a charging stopping value, by using the battery, and controlling, according to the discharge power and the feed power, the adapter to selectively supply power to the system. The disclosure further provides an electronic device using the power management method.

    Abstract: A cholesteric liquid crystal composite display device includes a cholesteric liquid crystal reflective display device and a transmissive display device. The transmissive display device is located below the cholesteric liquid crystal reflective display device. When the cholesteric liquid crystal reflective display device is displayed in a transparent state, the light transmittance of the cholesteric liquid crystal reflective display device is higher than that of the cholesteric liquid crystal reflective display device when it is displayed in a dark state through a rated driving mode.     Abstract: The present invention relates to a cholesteric liquid crystal display, a micro processing unit, and a method for hybrid driving. The cholesteric liquid crystal display comprises a display panel and a micro processing unit. First, a grayscale threshold value needs to be set in advance. The micro processing unit will change the grayscale value of the display unit exceeding the grayscale threshold value to the new grayscale value displayed by the bright state color, and display the image by the DDS driving mode. Then the micro processing unit drives the display image in the PWM drive mode, which can greatly improve the color level and contrast display effect of the image.

The projection of the first light absorbing layer on the horizontal plane and the projection of the light supplement module on the horizontal plane are arranged in a misaligned manner. The control module is provided for controlling the light supplement module according to the brightness signal. Thereby, when the external brightness is low, the light supplement module enhances the displaying brightness of the cholesteric LC composite display device to meet the usage requirements.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-angle reflector for use in a backlight unit. The back light unit comprises a plurality of lamps, a multi-angle reflector and a diffuser. The multi-angle reflector comprises a plate and a plurality of reflecting protrusions. The plate has a top surface toward to the lamps. The reflecting protrusions are respectively disposed on the top surface of the plate. Each reflecting protrusion has a reflecting surface. The reflecting surfaces have a plurality of reflecting angles corresponding to the top surface of the plate so that the light from lamps are adapted to reflect to the diffuser according to the reflecting angles. Therefore, according to the invention, the reflecting angles of the reflecting surfaces on the reflecting protrusions can be adjusted so as to suit to various actual conditions. The lights are uniform and the utility of the lights is improved. Because the reflecting protrusions are small, the reflector can be made into a thin type.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a lamp reflecting apparatus for use in a direct under type backlight module, wherein the backlight module comprising a plurality of lamps, a diffusing plate and a bottom reflecting plate. The diffusing plate is located above the lamps while the bottom reflecting plate is deposited under the lamps. The lamp reflecting apparatus provided between the lamps and diffusing plate comprises a reflecting layer for use in reflecting light emitted from the lamps to the bottom reflecting plates. Light non-uniformity resulting from light directly emitted to the diffusing plate directly above the lamps and the thickness of the backlight module can be reduced. Besides, light efficiency is also increased. The present invention can be applied in different backlight modules by changing shapes and sizes of the light reflecting apparatus.
