  • Publication number: 20080209741
Abstract: A blade structure of an electric hair trimmer is a blade set, comprising a fixed blade, a movable blade and a vibration seat which is driven by a motor. A front end of both fixed and movable blades is provided with a plurality of teeth to cut the hair by an alternate movement. The lower sections of edge parts at two sides of a tooth of the movable blade are extended outward from top to bottom to form with externally expanded surfaces with sharp transection angles. Accordingly, when hair is cut, a contact area of the edge parts between the hair is decreased, to largely reduce resistance to cutting, such that the hair can be cut off well with improved speed and efficiency and can be prevented from being damaged. Besides, lifetime of usage of blade structure in the electric hair trimmer can be extended.

  • Patent number: 6746879
Abstract: A guard filter methodology that automatically controls mask screening with the result of improved wafer quality, less scrap, and improved productivity. Upon each assignment of the mask or reticle to a specific piece of equipment, it provides a trigger to automatically check pertinent aspects of a mask related to wafer quality and yield with a guard filter system in combination with a database. The system is integrated into the current manufacturing machine control system and performs its checks quickly and efficiently. Wafer scrap due to the use of wrong scale mask for the specified equipment or a mask that is not usable are avoided. This automated guard filter methodology reduces manufacturing time and cost, checking frequency, and human error.

  • Patent number: 6342842
Abstract: An earthquake alarm device mainly includes a housing, vertical vibration detecting system, a horizontal vibration system, a battery and an alarm set. There is a spring with a specific spring coefficient k and the spring is connected to a weight. Once the earthquake happens, it will activate one of both of the vertical and the horizontal vibration detecting system so that a warning voice or voices are created. It can be activated by other magnetic or electrical method. In addition, the sensitivity of the vertical and/or the horizontal vibration detecting can be adjusted. After the earthquake is gone, it will return to its original state automatically. It will not be affected by the location. So, it is very convenient and precise in use.
