Abstract: An image recognition system and an image recognition method are provided. The image recognition system includes a first image capturing device for capturing a first image in a first angle of view, a second image capturing device for capturing a second image in a second angle of view, and a processing device having a recognition module and a judgment module. The recognition module identifies an object within the first angle of view to obtain a first recognition accuracy and identifies the object within the second angle of view to obtain a second recognition accuracy. The judgment module generates an overall recognition accuracy based on the first recognition accuracy and the second recognition accuracy, confirms whether the overall recognition accuracy satisfies an accuracy threshold to generate a confirmation result, and determines whether to adjust a weight value corresponding to the second image capturing device according to the confirmation result.

Abstract: A system for using the mobile electronic device includes an external device, a communication device, and the mobile electronic device. The mobile electronic device includes a positioning module, a wireless communication module, and a processor. The positioning module is configured to generate a positioning signal. The wireless communication module detects the communication device and obtains a wireless network name to be confirmed. The processor confirms whether the positioning signal is located within a positioning coordinate range to generate a position confirmation result, and confirms whether the wireless network name to be confirmed is a trusted SSID to generate a network confirmation result. When the position confirmation result is yes and the network confirmation result is yes, a stored data of the mobile electronic device is sent to the external device through the communication device.

Abstract: A firmware update application installing method for installing a firmware update application to a mobile device is implemented in an embedded device. The embedded device stores a plurality of the firmware update applications and a distinguishing program. The firmware update applications conform to a plurality of file formats, respectively, and an operating system of the mobile device corresponds to one of the file formats. The firmware update application installing method includes performing a device connecting step for connecting the embedded device to the mobile device, an application selecting step for configuring the distinguishing program to select one of the firmware update applications that conforms to the one of the file formats according to the operating system, and an application installing step for transmitting the selected one of the firmware update applications from the embedded device to the mobile device for installation.

Abstract: A method for enhancing the throughput between smart meters and a server is provided. The method is used in a device and includes: establishing a temporary storage area; temporarily storing one or more data transmitted by at least one smart meter into the temporary storage area; determining whether a condition is satisfied; aggregating the data in the temporary storage area into a data frame to generate an aggregated packet including the data frame and a header frame when determining that the condition is satisfied; and transmitting the aggregated packet to the server.
