  • Publication number: 20250106527
Abstract: A multi-module imaging system and an image-synchronization method are provided. The multi-module imaging system includes a photographic component having multiple photosensitive modules, an image signal processor and a data processor. The different photosensitive modules generate multiple sets of motion images respectively. The image signal processor then retrieves continuous frame images from each of the sets of motion images. The data processor obtains multiple frames generated at the same time from the continuous frame images and generates a composite frame that vertically combines the multiple frames by performing a vertical encoding procedure. Therefore, the multiple sets of motion images are encoded to be continuously-outputted multiple composite frames. Accordingly, the multi-module imaging system can synchronously output the frames that are generated by different photosensitive modules.

  • Publication number: 20250027748
Abstract: A sensor device and an operating method thereof are provided. The sensor device includes a microcontroller and a sensor module. The microcontroller performs the operating method. Firstly, the sensor device enters a configuration mode after being activated. The sensor device enters a detection mode after a timeout period. The sensor device is on standby for detecting if any event occurs under the detection mode. When any event is detected, a trigger signal is generated, and the sensor device enters a broadcast mode to broadcast the trigger signal. After another timeout period, the sensor device enters the detection mode again, and is on standby for detecting if the event is restored to a default state. When the event is restored to the default state, the sensor device is reset for detecting if the event occurs.

  • Publication number: 20250005941
Abstract: A drive recorder with a license plate recognition function and a method for license plate recognition are provided. The drive recorder includes a multi-lens camera module configured to capture motion images covering multiple viewpoints. One or more positions of license plates can be obtained according to features of the license plate, so that one or more regions of interest of the license plates in each of frames of the motion images can be determined. Different exposure compensation weights are designated to multiple zones based on a size and the position of each of the license plates. Each of the frames of the motion images can then be processed by different levels of exposure compensation according to the exposure compensation weights designated to the multiple zones. Afterwards, license plate recognition is performed on exposure-compensated images of the license plates.

  • Publication number: 20240153719
Abstract: An operation-indication mode switching structure, a circuit, and a method for operating the same are provided. The operation-indication mode switching structure is disposed on a housing of a device, and includes a switching mechanism that is used to switch multiple operation-indication modes. The switching mechanism is selectively connected with one of multiple signal terminals. When the switching mechanism is manipulated to switch to one of the operation-indication modes, a control unit of the device receives an operation-indication mode switching signal generated by the switching mechanism conducting or circuit-shorting one of the multiple signal terminals. A corresponding operation-indication mode that is a covert mode, a stealth mode, or a normal mode can be determined. The control unit is used to control an indication function of the device according to the operation-indication mode that is switched to.
