  • Patent number: 9133977
Abstract: A supporting mechanism is disclosed in the present invention. The supporting mechanism includes a base, a supporter, a latch and an actuating component. A hole and an accommodating structure are formed on a bottom of the base, and an opening of the accommodating structure faces outward of the base. The supporter is movably disposed inside the accommodating structure. The supporter includes a contacting pillar, which pierces through the hole and stretches into the base. The latch is slidably disposed inside the base. The latch includes a pushing portion for pressing the contacting pillar, so as to move the supporter out of the accommodating structure. The actuating component is pivotably disposed by a side of the base. The actuating component includes a handle and an actuating portion. The actuating portion can rotate toward an inner of the base for pushing the latch when the handle rotates outwardly.

  • Patent number: 8879251
Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a housing body having a bottom wall and a pair of grooves formed in the bottom wall, a cover body, a pair of hinges interconnecting the housing and cover bodies, a pair of foot modules respectively corresponding to positions of the grooves, and a pair of cam mechanisms each connected to one hinge and an adjacent foot module. Each foot module includes a foot pad movable between retracted and protruding position. When the cover body is pivoted from a closed position to an open position, each hinge actuates a respective cam mechanism which in turn actuates the foot pad to move the latter from the retracted to the protruding position.

  • Patent number: 8259438
Abstract: A button locking mechanism includes a latch for being pushed in a first direction by a driving component, and a blocking component connected to the latch. A first incline structure is formed on the blocking component for contacting against a button when the blocking component moves in the first direction so that the blocking component moves in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The button locking mechanism further includes a first elastic component connected to the blocking component for pushing the blocking component to move in a third direction opposite to the second direction so as to prevent the button from being pressed down.

  • Publication number: 20120044654
Abstract: A fixing mechanism includes a housing whereon an accommodating space and a fastening slot are formed. The accommodating space is for accommodating a removable module. The fixing mechanism further includes a casing for covering the removable module. The fixing mechanism further includes a latch component installed on the casing in a slidable manner, and a handle connected to the casing in a rotatable manner. An end of the handle pushes the latch component to engage inside the fastening slot for fixing the removable module inside the accommodating space when the handle rotates to a fixing position. The fixing mechanism further includes a resilient component connected to the latch component for driving the latch component to separate from the fastening slot when the handle rotates to a releasing position and the end of the handle separates from the latch component.
